Anyway they've got back to my strongly worded message with help from my dp who works in it. They have offered 25 in vouchers doubt we will use them.
You would be referring to the post about an Ipad. Is this what your mother bought?

OP - if you can confidently quote what the sales person said, you must have been there at the time, so why didn't you tell your mum that the software wasn't necessary?
Or are you just going by what your mum (who seemingly doesn't know much about computers) has told you and assuming that her story is 100% accurate? If you weren't there to hear the conversation how do you know that they outright lied rather than simply engaging in some sales puff? Is there no chance that your mum misunderstood or has misreported the conversation?
Fraud is quite a serious accusation and I'd be hesitant to make such an accusation based on hearsay.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

And for people who can't be bothered to read the whole articleThe experts suggest iOS and Mac owners only download apps from the official Apple app store and that they make sure to keep their software up to date. They also advise people to install antivirus and security software, and never connect a device to an unknown, or unsafe computer.
I'm sure the OP will be along any minute to apollygise.0
