Apologies - I am a moo sometimes. As you can tell I burn the candle at both ends, seeing as I have a full time job in a School and have to start work there at 8am, yet I am usually posting two dozen replies here between midnight and 2am most nights! Addictive indeed!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

C-M I more than deserved it, and if it released a bit of pressure from all the stress an worry we "Newbies" cause you then, I am more than happy to take an ear bashing just as long as you carry on the good work :T
Work in a school?
Your not the Headmaster are you?
I'm very, very sorry sir.
I wont do it again sir I promise :laugh::laugh:0 -
The Headmistress, possibly. Definitely not the Headmaster!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I'm not the Headmistress and the school may or may not be a Junior School in West Sussex near the beach - that's all I am telling PPC World!

Hi all,
I will be returning to the scene of the injustice today (PE/Hospital)
Do I need to do anything for example take photo's of signage/camera's
or have I read correctly, it is up to the PPC to prove these are adequate, legal and maintained.
I will be speaking to in the 1st instance to the hospital main reception and requesting they have the PCN's dropped or details of whom I need to contact to complain about the unfairness of the PPC's actions. I believe this is also a good route to go down?
Thanks0 -
No harm in taking some pictures - just in case you need them.
And definitely complain to the hospital.0 -
Yep you may need the 'Facilities Manager' or whoever is responsible for patient complaints (or even impatient complaints!).

Unfortunately on this occasion I only had time to take pictures. My appointment was running very late due to a trauma incident at A+E. I wonder if I can give the hospital a PCN because my backside was sitting on an uncomfortable chair for a lot longer than it should of been LOL
Don't start shouting at me, I know all the doctors and nurses work really hard. I'm just making a bit of a point. Pay for 2hrs parking (more than enough for 10 min appointment)and have to wait 3 for your appointment. Then the scam artists charge you obscenely high charges. Or you can leave the waiting room to obtain a new ticket and lose your 10min slot with the doctor What a joke it all is.
I currently have to return to the hospital twice weekly so on my next visit I will speak to whoever it concerns.
Happy Days0 -
I have just been reading the new MSE FIGHT PRIVATE PARKING TICKETS and the thread concerning it (OP Former MSE Marcel)
It has given me food for thought, especially the post by gertysingh.
If you try to appeal by email, ensure you have received some type of response even if it is an automated response. If you have not received some type of response say 2 days later then post the appeal + cert of posting.
With the certificate of posting, PPCs cannot lie they never received the mail! (the law will be in your favour!)
I sent my appeals (x4) via PE's website and the only response was automated to say they had received my appeals immediately after I clicked the submit button. However and forgive me if I'm being stupid, but I wasn't given say a log number or ref number just a thank you.
Should I be playing safe here and mailing my appeals or is there a way I can find out they have received them from say the history on my laptop or should I telephone PE.
Your thoughts/ advice please
