I know it’s something you wouldn’t choose to do - but is there a charity for CP you could apply to. I know in the past we’ve had help from the charity that covers our family condition. I repay by doing some fundraising for them.....but I have neglected that a little recently. Must do better on that front me thinks......

  • Pretty sure you should be able to get a grant for a ramp to the house, and possibly even for the car hoist. Maybe start with the council’s Social Care Fund, or Capability Scotland Xx

In other news I have ordered a new frying pan.
Got some survey vouchers so that brought down the cost to a more managable level. So pleased with that.
I will not be using frylight on it!!

Have you tried Red Cross for the ramp? They were fantastic with equipment/rails for Mr SA.

Can't believe the cost of the scooter hoist

  • Beanie hope you are feeling a tad more bright today.

When you are talking about hoists do you mean , boot hoist or roof rack hoist. My friend has the roof one, it makes so much difference to her life.

Not sure of the cost, but I seem to think she paid a contribution towards it.
Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.
