    Hope you get on OK at the Drs Beanie. Bucket shaped chairs are good for getting in and out of and look nothing like an Auld Woman chair :rotfl:

    Hope you get to the doctors ok. A friend has stresslers chairs in her second lounge , very good they are . The weather is freezing here also , so be careful on your way out.

    Stress less chairs are fantastic - dh has one and I make it mine every time we go round:D He got reduced at J@hn L. a few years ago. Might be worth keeping an eye open when you’re ready :money:

    We have a Canadian gliding rocking chair and footstool - these are often sold as nursing chairs. Much cheaper than stressless chairs - I believe Mothercare and other baby care sites sell them for around £200. They are great and a bit of rocking your toes towards you just sets the lovely rocking motion in train. Had mine for nearly 27 years now(!) and only recovered the cushions once

    OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!
    I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread
