is it a plug in hybrid or a self charging one ?
I have a plug in hybrid Jeep which I plug in via a normal 3 pin plug every night.I get 20-30 miles per charge (depending on weather and whether I have lights/heater/heated seats etc on) so normally use that first then go onto petrol however I change it so it charges whilst driving if I am on a long journey. I have the sat nav on and generally switch back to electric when I have enough electric miles to get me home.
Just for pootling around and all electric I am on 99+mpg. For mixed use its around 57mpg.

- When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £211,813
- OPs to mortgage = £19,809 Estd. interest saved = £10,180 to date
c. 16 months reduction in term
Fixed rate 3.85% ends October 2030

I've realised thanks to tracking spending January and February that I am already really frugal - which is hilarious given I have 3 horses, a big dog and a cat!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4
