We were only on amber & that was not pleasant.  There is no way I would go anywhere on red.  I hope just one person turned up & made them have to go.  I mean supermarket close & they think it is acceptable to run a jaunt.  Mind you it has amazed me how many people haven't made stuff in their garden safe.

Absolutely.  They won’t see their money again.
They were a group of 8.

It’s amazing how many people have not even tied down trampolines.

How daft of a bus company wanting to run a tour on a day like today . I hope your mum and friends complain . The wind has been very breezy here but seems to have calmed down a lot now. Stay safe with your furry friends .

    Hello Beanie

Glad you are safe and hopefully still got power….

really feel for your Mum…. I wonder if an email to the council trading standard or a rant on Facebook ( although I steer clear of this media now)  - local company do they really want bad publicity… so cross I can see loads of your MSE friends wanting to march on them and tell them what’s what… better still set ML on them !
As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or
What does the saying say.... When life hands you lemons, make lemonade
Or as my Mum would say, brush yourself down, tomorrow is another day or
Fake it, to you Make It

That's ridiculous about the bus company.  I'm glad you've made it through ok.
