Could y start feeding them in a different room or in the garden before the work and noise starts. How long will it take for them to do the kitchen? Focus on the end result not the chaos within. I stayed in my bedroom with the tv on and my crafts whilst they were doing ours.

Perhaps you could set up a feeding station in the conservatory and have a sacrificial carrier bag for carrying the bowls back to whichever sink you end up using to wash the bowls?

Could someone come round and help with the kitchen pack up - I assuming this is the main thing you have to do before Monday?
