I am very blessed with my friends circle. I am glad that you went out despite yourself and had a good time
Are you worried about how the cats will react to works, the practicalities of feeding them during works or both? We decided not to move the cats when we got our attic renovated and they survived, making friends with the builders and having regular appearances on local FB groups as they tried to make new friends. In retrospect, I regret the decision a little, but only because the works ran long (and a cat ****** over the couch)

The kitchen clearing is now at a level I am happy with. I still have wee bits to do. A friend is coming either tomorrow or Monday morning to move the Ninja and the microwave as that is beyond my capabilities. I also need to move chairs. I have no idea where they are going. I have run out of room. Conservatory is full with just a path to cat flap. A few years ago we had a new kitchen, bathroom and boiler/radiators all done at the same time. It was so much upheaval but more than worth it in the end.Glad you had a fabulous night xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
