    I echo everyone’s words about the lodger …. Really good news 

    Yet, having picked up you are being supported by a PA which is good news that I have missed ( have not read back yet ). Did I spot that this support has had to be cut back / stopped - which is a big blow…..

    I know you can ask friends /lodgers etc but that changes the dynamics of the relationship having to rely on others and there is an element of indebtedness. Even if others are happy to help - The relationship is much easier if it’s a specific role such as a PA where you can agree the support needed without  the difficult feelings of asking others for help.
