    - OPs to mortgage = £18,925 Estd. interest saved = £9,670 to date
    c. 16 months reduction in term

    Would your Maw be of a mind to contribute something towards your higher bills when she is staying with you and presumably not spending a lot while she convalesces?  Is that something she might think of herself or would she need a nudge and would you find it possible to do the nudging?  I know family dynamics can be complicated though.....
