Sun_Addict said:Glad the new fridge freezer is up and running. Mine is really quiet too which is an improvement on the old one. Hope the vole has made its way outside, it’s surprising how they can squeeze through the tiniest of gaps. My friend’s cat once brought a moorhen through the cat flap, luckily she managed to rescue it.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

A late contender …
how about a bat brought in by the cat?5 -
Another late entry. A rat here. We were working outside and DH disturbed a nest and our girl swiped one and brought it home. Sadly DH had left the back door open or it would not have got through the cat flap (as it was enormous) I chased back and it was on the floor, playing dead with a very proud puss overseeing it. I had my thorn-proof gloves on. I scooped it up as it moved, and it squealed like a piglet then sank its teeth into the glove (moderately terrifying). I managed to get it out. It was about 30cm (a foot) long.

Wow Suffolk Lass, very brave!
Toss up between the bat and moorhen as winners though 😱5 -
Oh eek SL - well done! I'm afraid I'm with Cheery though - it may be a draw between the bat and the moorhen - possibly the moorhen scrapes it for being both bigger and having lethally sharp claws AND a beak?!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
