One of my cats years ago tried to bring a blooming rabbit in the cat flap
The entire time we had HRH we constantly urged her to go and catch something useful, like rabbits. She never quite managed it though sadly.

The full story of the bat is that it was brought in at night and hung itself above the door frame, so when my DH went in, in the morning it dropped on his head 😄😄
I’ve had a bat fly into my patio doors and stun itself but thankfully my cat has never brought one in. They are basically flying mice 😱 They are quite cute though to be honest.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
