Sadly DH had left the back door open or it would not have got through the cat flap (as it was enormous) I chased back and it was on the floor, playing dead with a very proud puss overseeing it. I had my thorn-proof gloves on. I scooped it up as it moved, and it squealed like a piglet then sank its teeth into the glove (moderately terrifying). I managed to get it out. The entire time we had HRH we constantly urged her to go and catch something useful, like rabbits. She never quite managed it though sadly.

The full story of the bat is that it was brought in at night and hung itself above the door frame, so when my DH went in, in the morning it dropped on his head 😄😄

I’ve had a bat fly into my patio doors and stun itself but thankfully my cat has never brought one in. They are basically flying mice 😱 They are quite cute though to be honest.

Parking was ok.
Magaged to nab a wheelchair once in the venue as it was a fair wee bit to walk.
My arms are sore with the self propelling.

I'm glad you got what you needed, beanie, but having sore arms from self propelling isn't ideal when you've gone along for a flipping booster!  Hope you can sleep well tonight.
