    Good heavens!  What a problem to have  :o I'm imagining thats a lot of scrabbling about on the floor too ... have you got a kneeler?  Have you got a transparent plastic bowl or something to catch the vole in?   Good luck xx

    When we still had HRH The Cat she brought a live mouse in on one occasion - we never did find the poor thing but equally have never found its remains either so it must have got out again. The live PIGEON she brought in on another occasion managed to make its own way out...

    Mr N was bad for that.
    I once had two of my friends sons & I trying to get rid of a flapping bird.  It was not good!

    Cat shut out of room, mousetrap shut in? 

    (you can get humane ones... the downside I didn't know about is that you are supposed to relocate them over half a mile away to avoid them coming straight back, so needs a travel plan!)
    Am hoping it has now relocated!

    Glad the new fridge freezer is up and running. Mine is really quiet too which is an improvement on the old one. Hope the vole has made its way outside, it’s surprising how they can squeeze through the tiniest of gaps. My friend’s cat once brought a moorhen through the cat flap, luckily she managed to rescue it. 
    I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
