EssexHebridean said:As long as solutions ARE being discussed Beanie - it so often seems to happen that regular reviews of situations like yours fail to happen and the person concerned is left not getting the help they need. I'm glad that's not happening in your case, even if there currently isn't a good solution to the problem.
Glad you had a lovely day and celebrations!

There is no shame in crying Beanie…..and that is what we all pay in for…..the NHS when it’s needed…..and it’s needed by us 😉January spends - £587.585

Some people need the NHS more than others. I am also a drain but it can't be helped. I'd prefer to not need them, as I'm sure you would too. Don't start beating yourself up about a need. You have enough bruises. This is SAD playing with your mind. Tomorrow try calling someone you've not spoken to in ages, just for a blether. I'm sure it will brighten your, and their, day.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

There's no such thing as a drain on the NHS Beanie - it's for supporting whoever needs it, and as Bevan himself said, we wouldn't be a civilised society without it.I hope you had friends around you at the foodbank?Hugs, purrs and doggy cuddles from all in this house xoDebt free May 2016... Beanie, the NHS is about far more on an individual basis that "money in/money out" - some people may pay in all their lives and never need more than the odd course of antibiotics, others may call on a higher level of assistance - but NOBODY is any less worthy of its help than anyone else. You may feel that you're just a drain on it, but that is certainly not true, and if anyone within the NHS has been making you feel like that, I'd suggest a strongly worded complaint would be very much in order. Have a think about what you would say to someone else on here who was thinking in those terms, and treat yourself with the same level of compassion you would show others!
