Are you mad woman!? Getting someone in to start you off is a good idea but a little bit of maintenance is good after that.beanielou said:The weather here is not summery at all.
I have not managed any weeding which is just as well as I have pulled a muscle in my leg.
When I weed I sit on the ground & then struggle to get up.
The long handled tool I bought does not work for me.
I need to pay someone to deal with all the weeeds on the other side of the fence in the land that no one maintains.
In other MSE news I seem to have been overspending a tad & I need to reign it right in.
Although I am now MF I stll have a very small income & need to remind myself of that.
Check out sturdy steps for weeding - DH uses one like this that you can kneel on the pad at the bottom and use the sides to get up but I don't like the feeling of being closed in so I use a stack of four plastic stools like these and I make sure I have a fork to lean on to get up if I am stiff from being there a while (I am double jointed so it might not suit others).Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!

Have had those stools that you lean on. Unfortunatly I have broken 3 so far.
I have the other type of stool but I still have to crawl to get to it.
