  • I have to admit it looks like you have drawn the short straw with the commentary team.

I am not a footie fan really & don't watch a lot of football but that would certainly put me off.

I’m like milann I avoid football but like to hear of UK teams winning. Believe it or not I’ve been to 3 live football matches in the past and actually enjoyed them. It’s different watching them live, it’s the atmosphere. I didn’t enjoy the shouting and swearing though and didn’t get you had to stand up and get excited when the home team scored 🤣
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

I used to regularly go with my dad to watch Man City. I loved the atmosphere but didn’t have a clue about what was happening on the pitch 😂😂😂I remember one match where we couldn’t get in our usual seat so had to stand - somebody near us swore and another man told him to watch his mouth as there were children present 😂😂😂😂😂he apologised - somehow I can’t imagine that happening now……mmmmm…..think I’m showing my age 😳😂😂😂

I didn't watch it as I had to work but I heard it was a bit dire.  SA is right about live though, I went to a few matches in my younger days and the atmosphere was brilliant.

To be fair, they were two of the better goals that Scotland conceded (though why the GK decided to stand 40yds up the pitch when Scotland don't play that system needs a bit of explaining)
