I’m like milann I avoid football but like to hear of UK teams winning. Believe it or not I’ve been to 3 live football matches in the past and actually enjoyed them. It’s different watching them live, it’s the atmosphere. I didn’t enjoy the shouting and swearing though and didn’t get you had to stand up and get excited when the home team scored 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I used to regularly go with my dad to watch Man City. I loved the atmosphere but didn’t have a clue about what was happening on the pitch 😂😂😂I remember one match where we couldn’t get in our usual seat so had to stand - somebody near us swore and another man told him to watch his mouth as there were children present 😂😂😂😂😂he apologised - somehow I can’t imagine that happening now……mmmmm…..think I’m showing my age 😳😂😂😂January spends - £587.584

I didn't watch it as I had to work but I heard it was a bit dire. SA is right about live though, I went to a few matches in my younger days and the atmosphere was brilliant.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

To be fair, they were two of the better goals that Scotland conceded (though why the GK decided to stand 40yds up the pitch when Scotland don't play that system needs a bit of explaining)Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread
