Sun_Addict said:Boo to not being able to see your mum or DS. How do they know if you’ve travelled outside your council area?Someone from the local supermarket was cautioned the other night travelling home from work in their work uniform. Unfortunately we are quite near the borders for 2 council areas.I will make no further comment as it is stressing me out.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I’m like you Beanie and on the cusp of the next council area so it would be very easy to stray into it without realising 😩 Hopefully not too much longer to go before we can all get the vaccine and get back to normal 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Oh your MF date is so close now, you must be looking forward to that. 🥂
Sorry to hear that you can't see your mum or DS, the restrictions are so difficult. As you know I'm in tier 4 now, my DH was saying the police were setting up roadblocks into Glasgow, pulling people over and fining them if they didn't have good reason to be out. DH was on his way to work so that was ok but it's all very strict now.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.3 -

Even if the Police pull just 1 or 2 over at a busy time it deters lots of people from being naughty. I think the App could say where you've been too @Sun_Addict, but not being used for enforcement.
In the East Midlands (Leicester and Nottingham) there are lots of extended family "I was just" breaches and sadly the elderly Asian communities are really suffering. On our East news there was a teenager who had "just" met some friends and infected her parents, who were her grandparents' carers and both grandparents had died - terrible thing for her, she was saying she was responsible for their deaths.
My Mum's the same as you beanie - on her own with my Sis as her carer in East Ayrshire - so sis can shop in Killie but not Ayr - you just have to make the best of it don't you.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread
