    Oh blimey. Can you get to the socket to switch it on and off? Ours goes a bit doolally every now and then but switching it off at the mains for a couple of minutes seems to re-set it. Worth a try? xx

    My washing machine has a well-known catch release issue. It goes through the cycle completely then just does not shift from one minute left to the beeping alert - if that is your problem the free remedy is to give the door handle (and therefor the catch) a sharp tap (I suggest the base of a small saucepan in your case beanie - you don't want anything bruised in your hands or wrists) and the tap triggers the release.

    If there is an error code that is usually a blocked drain and it is a bit of a rigmarole to clear it (I did mine last month - a combination of sand, hair and fluff).

    Did you shift it Beanie? Ours has a "reset" option via pressing and holding the switch used to start a programme - not sure if that's common to most but could interrupt whatever is causing the issue maybe?

    WM machine man has been out.
    The door catch is broken & needs replaced as does the handle.
    After taking the machine out & taking off the top the sheets are out.
    He is coming back to fit the new bit later.
