Oh AleMrsT - that's so rubbish about Vodafone! I hate it went they send you around in circles and no one knows what they are talking about! You've reminded me that I think my prescription has changed as my eyes have been getting tired recently. Actually no - I've had my eye test and my prescription had changed but I didn't bother with new glasses at the time!

Ah twiggy make sure to get your new prescription! It might be cheaper to just get an existing frame reglazed with new lenses, or try glasses direct, I was going to order mine off there but seeing as I got a fairly decent discount I didnt need to.

On another note, I have had the day from HELL at work.:mad::mad: Won't go into detail, but people can be so damn rude and obnoxious sometimes. Two of us have been in tears. I don't get paid enough to deal with some of the sh**t that we get.

    Anyway, rant over.

My parents took me food shopping on my day off yesterday as I didnt have the car, spent £67.84 in ALd1. Same price as my hair appointment would have been, but food shopping is obviously more important than a hair appointment!

I also withdrew some cash to get a saver ticket for the bus (£14 for 10 journeys, saves 50p per journey), as I have had to dip into the car parking pot in the car. I will replace this with the change I got from the bus ticket.

That's all from me, off for a nice walk in the sunshine to shake off the bad mood I've been left with.

Hope your days have been better than mine!

Well the story with Vodafone gets better and better. They've now registered a late payment on my credit file. I am absolutely livid. The account is CLOSED according to the amount of times they couldn't locate it on their systems. To not even send me a bill or notification that I do actually alegedly 'owe' something, just sold it straight to fredricksons without informing me or giving me the opportunity to actually pay!!!!!!!!!!! Until they prove I owe them money, that ive been informed about the amount, and answer why I was told otherwise, then I'm reporting them to the FSA and financial ombudsman. I will not deal with Vodafone anymore when they treat customers like crap. x 100000

Oh gosh AleMrsT. I was going to write that I hope your walk helped but it sounds like you've had the worst start to the day today. I actually can't believe how much I know they've messed you around, and that's just from what you've written on here! Really hope you get this sorted and hope the rest of your day goes better.

Here's some virtual tea/coffee and cake - hope this helps! :coffee: :bdaycake:

Ah, thank you twiggy. Luckily things are good at work so far, I've found the address of the ceo so I will be writing to him to get it sorted. Another default on my credit file won't matter in the grand scheme of things, but it's just on principal, they've closed the account and said I don't owe anything.
    Anyway. IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!
    Happy Friday everyone. X

Quick update as it is late and I'm at work tomorrow. Massive thanks to Lee from Vodafone who has resolved my problem with my closed account, and confirmed there is nothing further to pay. I am very pleased that someone at least is helpful and customer focused. Bravo Lee. Thank you so much. :T
