cheapest PAYG

The cheapest if you only have a 2g phone is White Mobile piggy backs on EE,
3p a minute to landline. 6p a minute to mobile. Free Voicemail. But you need to make a call every 60 days to maintain service.
Toggle Mobile is 3 pence a minute to UK landlines and mobiles.
It has cheap roaming in some countries at that price too, but it's still worth considering here as well.
Also needs use within 60 days, I think, or check.0 -

Minimum top up is only £2 on White for really low users! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

That doesn't alter the fact that White Mobile is not the cheapest tariff.0 -

I didnt say it was did i ?, i was merely pointing out that it needed a £20 top up, and in addition to that if your a new user they want an extra £5 for the sim.
Not a cheap solution for occassional use .;)
I i recall correctly Toggle requires you to make a call every 120 days .0 -

When mobile phones were first introduced, I believe that (a large?) part of the top up went towards the service, rather like line rental on a home phone.0 -
If you have a 3g phone, cheapest for payg calls is Three at 3p a minute as has already been pointed out a number of times. It does exactly what it says on tin. No extra charges. You need to make a call every 180 days to maintain service.
On Three's 3-2-1 plan, do calls to BT landlines cost 3p a minute or is that the cost only when phoning other mobiles?
Also, is there a minimum connection charge when making a call or do you just pay exactly 3p if you make a 1 minute phone call?0 -
Landlines starting 01,02,03 and standard mobile numbers should all be charged at 3p a minute by the minute unless the T&Cs say different. I would expect Three to charge in whole minutes as charging by the second as Tesco, Giffgaff, Sainsbury do would not be practical at such a low charge - unless anyone knows different from their T&Cs.
Eg a one minute call should cost 3p.0 -

Calls are charged by the minute and rounded up to the nearest minute. 3p calls are 01/02/03 and UK mobiles.
All details are in page 2 of the price guide:
