Good luck hope you find the missing items. Have you felt down the side and backs of the sofa and chair ;)

I have indeed...ive even had the bottoms of the chairs off too...
Going to start looking again tomorrow,I think its just a case of hopefully systematically going through each room ....

I'm not overly bothered about the phone, thats easily replacable but the watch was quite sentimental...and I know OH is quite cut up about it too,I happened to comment on it being my first gift to him,for his eyes to glaze over and sadly say "i know".

I so want to find it in the house but I'm beginning to wonder if its slipped off somewhere else,he has a habit of fiddling with the catch and it not being secure on his wrist.

Looking for this blasted phone and watch!!!!
although I've had enough for today and am going to sit down with a glass of wine....the hunt will resume tomorrow, although neither know or wish to admit that the items might have been lost outside the house.

Check in random places like the fridge, cupboards, microwave, bathroom cupboard, under the sink, bathroom bin, car, garage, garden, recycling bins, bedroom bins, inside pillow cases, inside tins of heroes/roses/quality street/celebrations

You can tell I've lost things in random places :o

    Good Evening :)

Very busy day for me today. I haven't done any laundry for over a week :o so five loads washed, dried and folded later..... Oh how I hate folding laundry and pairing socks. There must have been close to 100 pairs :o:o and I still have all the bedding to do :(
As well as catching up with all the other things I've let slip last week. I think I won though :D

And we've had a meltdown from DS2 because someone (as yet undisclosed) ate the last slice of the Anniversary cake and it was his. We had tears and everything. Last seen examining other people hands, faces and bedrooms for traces of crumbs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You've just reminded me that I need to do some washing :o

I shouldn't laugh at DS2 as he clearly takes these things very seriously but it's the way you tell it :rotfl:

I'm just...speechless! Although I shouldn't be really, as that's just what I would expect. You've got to be kind to them though - with people having so many different cards, debit cards, credit cards, membership cards of one place or another, and being handed so many different pieces of paper during the course of a day, life's too short to be fussing and faffing over what they might be:rotfl:.
It's information overload for the average person.
I was also once in a queue in a supermarket (one of the posher ones) where the guy in front of me left his credit card in the till card machine, he had already left when the SA realised and I offered to try and find him ( very trusting of the SA!), and I actually flagged him down in his car as he was leaving the car park; it was one of those top-of-the-range platinum-type credit cards, too.
