Do people not read the receipts they get? I suspect not!:D

On more than one occasion I've been in the queue at Tosco where shoppers wouldn't pick up their receipt with a PP voucher, until I'd pointed out that it was money off their next shop.

    Good Evening :)

Very busy day for me today. I haven't done any laundry for over a week :o so five loads washed, dried and folded later..... Oh how I hate folding laundry and pairing socks. There must have been close to 100 pairs :o:o and I still have all the bedding to do :(
As well as catching up with all the other things I've let slip last week. I think I won though :D

And we've had a meltdown from DS2 because someone (as yet undisclosed) ate the last slice of the Anniversary cake and it was his. We had tears and everything. Last seen examining other people hands, faces and bedrooms for traces of crumbs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thought they had but a couple mins ago I heard some noises not sure if it fireworks  or a car backfiring. I turned tv up quick and luckily Poppy asleep so didn't hear whatever it was. :)

Hope winds blowing opposite way tomorrow night :( Bars and Melody are turning on the Christmas lights in town and they will be having a firework display :(

We had Union J do the ones here. There went fireworks but there was lots of lighting and noise- we could hear the concert from here. Shame it wasn't a good band :rotfl:

although I've had enough for today and am going to sit down with a glass of wine....the hunt will resume tomorrow, although neither know or wish to admit that the items might have been lost outside the house.

Hope you manage to find them :)

I'm just...speechless! Although I shouldn't be really, as that's just what I would expect. You've got to be kind to them though - with people having so many different cards, debit cards, credit cards, membership cards of one place or another, and being handed so many different pieces of paper during the course of a day, life's too short to be fussing and faffing over what they might be:rotfl:.

It's information overload for the average person.

That doesn't sound good Westie :( Take care and if you feel worse you should maybe get it checked out just to be on the safe side?

I've driven in Iceland and can vouch for that; one of our co-drivers went the wrong way round a roundabout, and you would have thought it was every other drivers' fault but ours, the way they gave way and pointed us in the right direction:rotfl:

But, driving off-road over there is another matter ... there's no 'rules of the road' - at one point we got run off the 'road' (really just no more than a line of yellow markers across what looked like a moonscape), I've never been so scared in my life before:eek:

Anyway, Em, did you have a great time? Point me in the direction of your holiday write-up if you've already told the tale, thanks:)

I did thank you Jelly. I've never felt sadder to leave a place in my life. I feel like I could live there very happily as I'm a bit hermity at times so the lack of people suited me down to the ground. But then when you do meet people, they're so polite and friendly! Lot of handsome Icelandic fellas out there :)

I posted some pics on page 324 and some recommendations for things to do a few pages after that :money:
