You've just reminded me that I need to do some washing :o

I shouldn't laugh at DS2 as he clearly takes these things very seriously but it's the way you tell it :rotfl:

Does he ever! Im so glad it wasn't me that ate it  Even the dog was under suspicion until I pointed out if it was the dog, he'd managed to put a plate covered with chocolate crumbs in the dishwasher :D :rotfl:
You have to see the funny side of it or you'd go insane :rotfl::rotfl:

Check in random places like the fridge, cupboards, microwave, bathroom cupboard, under the sink, bathroom bin, car, garage, garden, recycling bins, bedroom bins, inside pillow cases, inside tins of heroes/roses/quality street/celebrations

You can tell I've lost things in random places :o
Those are the places we have checked first...husband is more random than most....its a common thing to find keys in the fridge in our house!
I quite often spend a large part of each morning returning things to where they should be.....

I was also once in a queue in a supermarket (one of the posher ones) where the guy in front of me left his credit card in the till card machine, he had already left when the SA realised and I offered to try and find him ( very trusting of the SA!), and I actually flagged him down in his car as he was leaving the car park; it was one of those top-of-the-range platinum-type credit cards, too.

Yeah, but that's a quite normal thing to do occasionally and not stupidity. (Then again I only say that because I've done something similar:o:o:rotfl: - I had a 'debit card scare' once, got out of the store, back to the car and...where is my debit card?!? Panic stations...where have I put it? Took off my coat, searched my coat pockets, put my coat back on, tried to search them that way, went down the back of the car seat, emptied the shopping bags, filled them again - where is it? After a few minutes searching around, and still no luck, I returned to the store, where I explained my predicament. Had I left my card in the SS? I was then informed that as I had the receipt, I must have removed my card, the machine apparently won't finish the shop until you remove your card (I didn't know that:o:rotfl:). But...where is my debit card? Back to the car - emptied all the shopping bags again, is it down the back of one of the bags? No luck. Turned it I'd put it in the back pocket of my jeans, that I rarely use - or ever really check! It's those busy shopping trips in busy days - when you're more or less on auto-pilot (I suspect many normal people must shop like that continously, given what silly purchases they pick up:rotfl:).)

If you need a cheap external hard drive and are a little computer-savvy (it's really easy to do), it's worth checking out freecycle or fleabay for 'not working' PCs; if they have a hard drive in, you can remove it, buy a case and leads for around a tenner, and you've got yourself an external hard drive. I had an old non-working computer (fried motherboard) and cannibalised it for the hard drive, which I still use for backups. The hard drives for PCs tend to be higher-spec and therefore more reliable than the ones use for external hard drives.

Good Evening :) I bought one of those for £12.50 a couple of weeks ago and took it back again soon after. It's ok for a child in my opinion but that's about it .
