I will be back. My OH is having a truly awful time at the moment so I need to deal with that. I am also behind on uni work and have worked way to hard to let it slip. This place has been an absolute haven to me at times, but I also get sucked in. So I've been ignoring you all
As soon as we get back on our feet, I'll be back.
Did you get any pics?
You have a family that must come first. I hope your OH comes out of the tunnel again soon. Is his friend due back soon? He has come so far from 2 years ago but this will never go away for him. Another great debt we owe our service men and women.
I am sure that should a great glitch appear your phone will buzz with texts from your friends here very quickly. You will miss nothing and gain some time.
Hope your studies are going well and that you catch up after your illness.

Good evening elite, I bought one of the £45 tassimos last week and I have a plan re the tassimo pods which are supposedly on offer at a for 3for£10 but multi not showing on a.com or on msm (plan to check my local for multi tomorrow) The latte pods are priced at roughly £4.50 - £5 and should comp v sainsbugs as they are on offer at 4for3.
I was thinking, if I buy 12 boxes (which divides between 4 and 3) the outlay would be £40 (would use some apgs) for 96 pods. Apg would think the cost was £54ish and with the sainsbugs 4for3 should compare at £40ish (depends which combo of pods you buy as prices vary slightly for the different flavour lattes).
My rubbish maths makes that an £18ish apg on a £40 spend so the pods actual cost would be £22 for 96 pods (8 in a box) or £1.80ish per box. Scuse all the ish's
I know it's late but if anyone with a better head for maths could check my figures I would be mostly grateful :A Also, has anyone noticed the multi sel for the pods in a recently?

I agree about animals, but why do people get angry? We all acquire pets knowing that there will be nights that people use fireworks and we have to deal with it. No-one ever thinks of people that are affected
I haven't seen anyone here getting angry about it? I think it's more frustration as they go on for weeks and it is exhausting if you are up half the night with them night after night ?
It's no fun trying to deal with an animal that won't eat, sleep, go for a walk or even go outside to go to the toilet. One night would be bad enough? I guess it depends where you live and how bad they are?:(
I do think of the people affected. Another reason why fireworks should only be allowed at organised displays in my opinion.
I'm glad there was a safe place you could take your OH. I know several people who take the week off work and drive to remote cottages to escape firework week. I would if I could afford to."I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."

Limes not picking up M's 4 for £1 offer. No surprise there - I hadn't even mentioned them anyway. Too expensive for just 4:rotfl:.

I am mightily grateful for what I do have. The next time you feel like moaning, think about what you do have because it can all be gone in a breath.
I drove 90 miles tonight thanking God that my husband is still here. It puts the petty stuff in perspective. Life is way to short for the petty stuff
Im going to bed......happy that we survived :wave:0 -
