We know it is horrendous. One of the memories I will take to my grave is of a young man arriving in the UK on Bonfire night and me transporting him to somewhere he can stay for the night. We were walking to my car when a firework went off and he hit the floor and was very distressed. I was desperately trying to calm him and get someone who could explain what bonfire night was about in his language. The poor soul x

Cold and frosty this morning :cool:

Poppy came to bed last night but wouldn't go out so I came down with her twice just before 12 and 3-30am. When she came in at 3-30am I heard a firework go off now that is ridiculous glad it went off when she came in and not when I opened the door

Then we went off to sleep in cosy warm bed til 7-30am

Morning all - back later if I ever get the to do list done

Please does anyone know if Marks have the dine in weekend on again - I've got a food conditional spend voucher I want to experiment with and I will be near a SS machine later today.

Mind you the £5 meal deal - starter, min and pud for a fiver deal was also good or even better but I've not seen that recently
