    The reality is a lot of people, 888,246 to be precise have paid £25 plus postage and are greatly looking forward to receiving them. This money is going to a fantastic cause and no one has agreed to have delivery of their lovely poppies delayed for another 12 months.

    I will not be signing the petition for these to stay another 12 months.

    To be honest I would have liked it to be a permenant thing and maybe they could have sold 888,246 limited edition replicas instead.
    London would have remained a brighter place and the tourist industry would have benefitted greatly.

    I agree, I don't think they realised how popular it would be!:(

    I hope they can extend by a few more weeks so that many more can see it and pay their respects!:D

    H&S complete care is on rollback now instead of 3f£10 so it's not working anymore.

    JF frizz ease serum b/c ending 201994 has been reported as working.

    Just nipped on to see if anything was glitching.....Im going to As tomorrow :j

    I agree with you but for different reasons. This installation was out there to commemorate a time in history that none of us should forget and it has done that in a very powerful way. I think the short-livedness of it is so powerful.

    I have by no means read all posts tonight.....I've skipped through. I did note that the majority are about animals and fireworks though. I have a host of animals as you all know, with varying reactions to fireworks.....but we cope.

    I have however tonight drove my OH 45 miles to a 'safe place' that a wonderful organisation here provide for ex-servicemen who are transported back to the battlefield on bonfire night :( in a very bad way.

    I agree about animals, but why do people get angry? We all acquire pets knowing that there will be nights that people use fireworks and we have to deal with it. No-one ever thinks of people that are affected :(

    All that said, I love fireworks and so do my children. My OH insists, despite what he goes through that I take the kids to the display and I did. They take pictures and he loves looking at them after. It's the noise that affects him.

    Anyway I didn't find any glitches on my skip you miserable lot :p I have however in 2 days earned my £50 quidco Cashback :j:j I never bought one thing that wasn't on my Xmas list or I didn't need anyway :beer: I actually think £50 CB on £100 spend (I spent £109) is very generous indeed!

    :)

    Heads up - Celebrations, Heroes, Roses, Haribo - 2 tubs for £7.00 @ Morrisons

    Official MoneySavingExpert insert: Bubbs is right! Morrisons has confirmed this two tubs for £7 promo starts in store on Thursday 5 November and ends on Sunday 9 November. Big thanks to the original poster for the great spot!

    Liars, liars, pants on fires:D:rotfl::rotfl:.

    Or - alternatively, a misunderstanding between the person at MSE and the M Press Officer. Or a misreporting by MSE of what M had confirmed.

    However - I suspect this is technical. After all, what to the normal person is the difference between 4 November and 5 November?

    Actually - ah!:idea::idea: I now notice it says Thursday 5 November, rather than Wednesday 5 November or Thursday 6 November. But, clearly, the MSE insert is inaccurate as it gets the day wrong - and we ought to have realised this as soon as we saw it!:D Thursday 5 November?!?:huh: There's no Thursday 5 November this year!

    (I'm trying to highlight the 'Savvy Industries' there and respond by laughing at it!:T But, to highlight an already bold text item means that two bolds interact with one another and turn it back to normal, hence having to put everything else into bold in the OP around it:rotfl:.)

    Debt-free and Proud!
    :hello: FC

    I hope you're not away for too long, purely selfishly of course because you're like one of the backbones of this thread and it's weird without you :)

    Pointless was ace. We got to hold the trophy. It's weenie. I got a Pointless answer on the first round so I was chuffed. They allow them a lot more time to think of answers than you see on TV. Ours was an author 'celebrity' special. Xander and Richard are such pros and very funny, the show works like clockwork, only a handful of pickups to do, smashing :D

    Also Richard used the F word and I was quite taken aback, don't know why :rotfl:

    M list now updated once again.
    I think some of the new items are particularly risky:rotfl:.

    Savvy Industries certainly kept busy today, trying to determine what the prices of items in M were when different M stores showed different things.

    Most of the items I've added to the M list (I've put them there in bold) either have a different price than what msm says or are showing unavailable for M on msm.

    Braeburn apples are showing 2 for £1.50 on msm but showing on mix and match with the Cox apples, "BPBV" Oranges pack and other items - but that's not in accord with what I have instore. I have the Cox and the Oranges as straight 99p:(, only the Braeburn on the mbuy offer (on that offer together with two other items that fail to make the list as pretty useless as 2 for £1.50 is too high on them IMO).

    Again - ignore msm, it is wrong!:p

    :eek::rotfl:

    (Possibly more because M's own website, m.com, is showing those prices - perhaps not been updated immediately to reflect what the actual prices in store, on those small number of items, are.)
