If you used my number as referring you on the application form, I would get a free month on top of whatever deal you receive. This may be in addition to you getting the TCB and any other deals.

  • Forgot to say earlier my Morrries have reduced the prices on their packs of bulbs, tulips, daffs and the like, eg £2 down to 75p. They're with the flowers and plants. Hope your Morries have them too :)

Right, caught up. As long as Original Sources not glitching - would have been good fillers for Avs S shop if they had been as really little worth comparing against Mr expensive Sains. - I don't need to bring my Avs S shop forward and rush out tonight. So, back to original plan - A vs S in a few days' time and without any Original Sources:cool:. I staying in tonight:j.

So, back from M (ages ago by the time I get round to this). A few changes here and there - and are they really putting back on offer for four days an item that went off offer on Monday? Yes they are - the Fray Bentos tinned pies (the smaller 425g ones) back down to £1. That now on until 9th November. :(I think I worked out 475g if they were at £1 in A, bought separately, would be oh so slightly better than 425g vs £1 with 10% off. Though I also said if you got a 475g tin, there would be little chance you'd consume only 425g of it and leave some till later. Would have been paying more (10p), even if getting 50g more, but bigger tins simply make us consume more - not money-saving really:(!

Just to confuse you and try to get you to pick up the wrong ones and pay more, the 2 for £1.50 offer has ended on the Cox Apples packs in M and is now on the Braeburn Apples packs. Although - and M might probably say this and it has a certain amount in favour of that argument in my view - the apples that are now in the offer, the Braeburn, are clearly in a compartment marked 2 for £1.50 so people can easily pick the right ones. The Cox apples are now clearly in a compartment with "99p". Avoid the 'expensive' Cox at 99p! There didn't look as many apples in the Braeburn packs as there were two or three years ago, however the apples now were quite big ones and the packs weigh in at just over 800g:T. 2 for £1.50 for 800g packs is quite 'good'. They work out cheaper by weight than T's Braeburn Apples packs 670g (but probably same number of apples in them) at 89p - but, typically, the T apples outside of the weight range for the APG whilst some much more expensive T apples (slightly lower weight) are linked up from the A Braeburn Apples packs. So, although on the T side of msm it appears to suggest 89p T and £1.48 A, in fact the £1.48 A apples, if they compare at all, compare vs much higher price (further highered by T being lower weight on that comparable version). I think probably just get 2 Braeburn packs in M on a separate (non-comparison) shop.

Well... if I go to three Ms, then I get three different prices for the same item:mad::mad::rotfl:. I say I won't tell you, but I'll probably end up doing so anyway, about my visit to Ms - part of the reason why I'm back quite late - but went to a store (here I go telling you:rotfl:) where some suggestion the Carlsberg was back at £10. However, I have two other stores with it at £12, so that's the better idea. Just so much inconsistency between different stores - finding things apparently back on offer, only to find that they are not, or that I know nothing about some items - only to have my "eyes opened" when I see them at a further store later! To such an extent today, that I won't even bother to go through all the differences between various stores as it's just too long and complicated!:rotfl::mad::rotfl:

And lastly, certainly not least, there is some potentially good news on the Quality Street/Celebrations/Heroes etc. tins. These are on 2 for £7 today in M. And - I found them with that offer showing in every M store that I visited! As regards whether they might work (in due course) in A, I still regard these as risky, not least because of the amount of difference £5x2 vs £7, but my doubt is whether these items are too new that they are not yet picked up for M and sit "waiting approval" from msm before they eventually get added months later. Thus an N/A on the comps at present. Yet we have seen some seasonal things like those 2 for £1 little Santa treats things comparing vs M haven't we? (I think I might be being too cautious:eek: - as didn't these tins (probably at slightly higher weight back then) compare vs M last year? They (the APG) do pick them up don't they?) This needs to wait in any event until the update. Expected by tomorrow afternoon, but could be as late as Friday evening. So, until we know any sooner (i.e. by spotting changes on wombles from shops done tomorrow), I wouldn't be trying anything vs M's Wednesday changes until Friday night.

As usual, mix and match is considered more risky and wonder whether they'll pick up the mbuy on any one of them anyway. I suppose, if you are buying them with wombles, you could buy them anyway. Or, if on a non-glitchy shop could get two at £5x2 as they are clearly 2 for £7 in M and complain if they don't pick up the M pricing.

Read the post again and see if youcan figure out why i think your response is irrelevant

Go back and read that post again and this time, try to pay attention to the detail :p

On the first matter, I've taken the OP as referring to some Ferrero Rocher and then saying they wondered whether this was within the 10% weight range. It was that that I was addressing in my reply. Even though it appears to be that - according to the poster - and I'm unable to have time at the moment (or ever possibly) to investigate what they've said and whether it is correct or not - according to the way I'm reading the OP, the product is showing OOS on msm and therefore won't compare anyway. That last point is irrelevant to the matter, as I was addressing and responding to the original thought and not the matter as to whether it was relevant to the actual situation with the Ferrero Rocher, apparently, showing OOS.

On the second matter, I was simply making some random thoughts, in case anyone could find something useful from them. Having not caught up, I've absolutely no idea what the prices or pricing on Milk Trays, Elizabeth Shaws or anything else in A are - I simply have not seen msm since I walked in (and have been out so long today, confirming and reconfirming from Morries), I am understandably way laid and out of the loop. They were just random thoughts, which may or may not have been applicable to the actual situation, and it's for the readers to look into the suggestions I was making and discover whether they were relevant or not - being able to do that and to look at msm etc. whilst I'm dealing with something else.
