Don't want the poppies to disappear from Tower of London? An online campaign has begun to keep them

An online petition has been set up to keep the 888,246 poppies at Tower of London for another year.

    http://www.itv.com/news/london/2014-11-04/dont-want-the-poppies-to-disappear-from-tower-bridge-an-online-campaign-has-begun-to-keep-them/

The reality is a lot of people, 888,246 to be precise have paid £25 plus postage and are greatly looking forward to receiving them. This money is going to a fantastic cause and no one has agreed to have delivery of their lovely poppies delayed for another 12 months.

I will not be signing the petition for these to stay another 12 months.

To be honest I would have liked it to be a permenant thing and maybe they could have sold 888,246 limited edition replicas instead.
London would have remained a brighter place and the tourist industry would have benefitted greatly.

Im one of these, and to be honest I dont need it for just over a year (for my hubbies retirement from the RAF) but i would be really upset if I needed it before that date and someone (!!!!) decided that its a money maker and they are going to lose out.
I agree that it it is very beautiful sight, and probably should have been left as it was, but they decided to sell them off and should honour their agreement.
