Sorry OP, what a rotten thing to happen.

Is your Wife going to leave the marital home or not? Unless you actually want to leave then don't be bullied or emotionally blackmailed into leaving. The man is always assumed to be in the wrong in these things, even when he's done nothing wrong at all. In my experience the women will fight tooth and nail to keep the house; often using the children as the excuse why she can't be the one to leave.
I don't remember seeing a thread on here where a woman is weeping about her husband having an affair and someone posts, "well, there must be a reason - why should he be the one to leave?"
OP, if you feel like you need counselling or other emotional support, don't be too proud to ask your GP to recommend something.Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.0
