NST November: battening down the hatches!

Hello,
Payday today and done some christmas shopping online. Have to postpone some though as either the website crashed, TCB didn't work or the item was out of stock suddenly, as I guess everybody had the same idea today.
Will do a weekly Aldee shop tomorrow.
Instead of paying much money towards the wedding debt (0%) I paid my CC offwhich made more sense. Depending how this month goes I might (WILL!) still be able to put some towards the wedding debt too.

Morning all!
Payday today, so my 'month end' and the figures are looking much better than I thought they were going to after the sofa. All set with supplies, petrol and budget for the rest of November, then onwards and upwards to December, which I think will be a tough nut to crack.
Happy Friday all0 -

Hi everyone
Well today I'm grateful for a sense of humor-my Interview was terrible
I fell apart in the theoretical test not remembering anything as I coughed and sneezed through it. So by the time my interview came, I knew I didn't stand a chance and just wanted it over with lol! But no, the torture continued and I was in there for an hour, lol. Anyway, I did quite well for the 1st one in 7 years, so I won't be so nervous next time and will be used of them
I have spent today-I bought a tablet for 50.00 as I hardly ever get on the net as the laptops are never free. If i'm to jobsearch, i need resources
Glad to see a few of us doing the £365 for 365 days :T Well payday was yesterday and I should knock £500 of my total by the months end :T I have to add up my totals, but I don't think I've done too badly-unlike the exercise
Take care everyone

Traveller been there it is horrid. Nevermind next interview you will smash it.
Today tired late night out last night, work mad busy today, showered and in pjs already.
Just had a coat ordered on line delivered love it but ordered another one, price is lower, will return one to the shop. So its sfd with a bonus.lol
Challenge for Dec looks great. Fmess especially like appreciate family you have. Had a tearful bit in the card shop yesterday seeing a sister card, she always loved cards and used to spend ages choosing them. At least her suffering is over now.
Need to get grip on my spending next month, lists and more budgeting this weekend.
Good long dog walk tonight dog tired out as well.
Fmess tablet bargain sounds good. Well done on yr debts.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -

Well done on persevering with the interview traveller, even with your sniffles

Finally managed to get another SFD today, so up to 12I have not left the house all day but had the new mattress delivered :j , the electrics in the garage finally fitted (now have a light and plug sockets
) and OHs car has finally gone to be repaired/written off.
No exercise achieved as was stuck in the house from 7.30am (when the electrician arrived) to 6pm (when the car got collected).
Nothing much else to report but glad I didn't experience the Black Friday madness.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Happy Friday all!!
Broke my SFD after spending 2 hours in traffic getting home from what should have been a 20 minute journey after work today.I just had to pull over as I desperately needed the loo and was so hungry/ hangry from sitting idle in traffic for so long I spent £5.49 on a meal in McD's I'm really not a fan of fast-food chains and never feel particularly great after eating any. I just knew I couldn't hold out any longer for 1) the loo and 2) food. Had a rubbish day at work, which felt like it went on forever, then I was blocked in, in the work car park so left work 20 minutes later than usual, then I spent 5 times longer than usual trying to get home. Have felt like a zombie all eve and haven't felt relaxed at all, I do not think it has really hit me yet that it is finally the weekend!
Making plans to see friends over the weekend, so it'll be nice and sociable. It'll be visits to their houses so nice and cheap weekend ahead of me along with overdue catchups!
N'night Ninja Savings Turtles...I'm off to check out Fmess's December Challenge before an early night!x

Almost another NSD, but petrol light came on whilst driving home so had to stop and fill £20  Oh well, should last till Jan now.
Dresses for SIL wedding next Saturday finally arrived. They are all Pha$e E!ght, but on sale (though still cost a bomb IMO). One was £298 at full price  Two are definitely going back and I've got to decide on the others in the morning with natural light coming through the windows. Am doing a reading ("Love is patient; love is kind..." of course!) so need to look good, hee hee.
Not much planned for the weekend.
Don't worry about the interview, traveller- remember, it's all good experience for when that perfect job does come alongLetting Go NST #17
