Vax Sale

I ordered with Vax following the MSE email about the sale.


Ordered 29th October, received confirmation email straight away.


On the 6th of November I got an email to say all goods should be received within 10 days of order... but 16 days later I still don't have any of my order.


Tried to ring today (Saturday) and their phone system is down for maintenance and due to open again on the 17th.


So I emailed them and received an auto reply that says


'Due to the success of our recent sale, it may take longer than usual for us to reply.


If your query is related to an order placed in our recent sale, please be advised that all orders will be despatched by Monday 17th November.'


Here's hoping they do!


Had expected that something that was advertised by MSE would be a genuine offer, feeling like I have been conned right now!!!


Only option is to file with PayPal, very disappointing.

Took 11 days but got my vacuum & steamer delivered yesterday - saved over £200 so i am very happy

I ordered a new vax and awaited delivery only to receive an email a week later to say the bank refused payment ????? Checked the bank and they have not revived a request from vax for payment and they said " they would not have refused" I've e-mailed vax acc they say it's to late ....what a con

Picked up a Vax steam cleaner from Argos. inc the £5 voucher it was cheaper than the 'reconditioned' unit from Vax!!!

I'm Sure 'anotheruser' will be along soon to tell you its all your fault... I think he might work for VAX!!!

Did they email you tell you it was coming? I have been to a funeral today, dropped my car off back home and they had left stuff in my garage. Came back later and they have left stuff with neighbours. No emails to say they were on the way.

Word of warning to anyone that has purchased a vax hoover with the long cable. Please be careful as my son has already managed to run over his exposing the wiring. As a long shot, contacted Vax, but as its accidental damage its not covered by the warrenty, and the warrenty is now void.
They did offer an out of warrenty repair for £75 but as it only cost £49, he declined. So in the mean time he has just taped it up, and will look into trying to change it himself, obviously he does know about electrics.
Only giving the warning about the danger of running over the cable, not about the warrenty

I ordered a steam cleaner in the Vax sale on October 31st. It promised delivery in 3-7 working days.
I had an e-mail to say that it had been dispatched on Nov 7th.
I e-mailed them a week ago and was promised all orders would be sent out by Mon 17th. Today Wed 19th it has still not arrived and I have had no text from Yodel as promised.
A complete waste of time, it has certainly put me off Vax for life.

I e-mailed Yodel and received a reply within 10 mins, many thanks for that Yodel.
As I said in my e-mail I haven't had a tracking no. from Vax (I suspect they are lying and my parcel has not been dispatched). I am awaiting a reply from Vax, I requested a refund of the delivery charge and told them that if I don't receive the item within 36 hours then I expect a full refund.
What a truly dreadful company Vax are. :mad:

I bought a new vacuum from the Vax Sale last year and it arrived within 3 days, seems like they've messed this sale up or theres an increased demand this year
