Evening all!
Hope nobody got blown away in the stormy wet windy weather we had today down here in the west!
Used a £1 MOC in Co-Op this afternoon, so that can go in the pot for today.
But I've been beavering away at money-saving and making, so rewards to come! I cashed in at Global Test Smartket for a Paypal payout this morning, whoop! But I won't count it until the cash arrives in my account.
Then this afternoon I did my gas and leccy meter readings for my latest bill, checked my online accounts (which I have been very lax about this year!) and rang them up to sort out. It turns out that as at todays readings, after paying the latest bills I'm £31 in credit on the leccy and a whopping great £215 in credit on the gas!!! They had been over-estimating like crazy!! But then again I should have stayed on top of it myselfSo anyway I got the overpayments actioned to be sent back to my account which hopefully will be within the next ten days. I didn't mention to them that I'm switching anyway through the MSE Big Switch which is going through in the next few weeks!!:D But I might as well have my money back in my own savings account making ME interest than theirs.
So even allowing for a couple of weeks costs before the final bills, that'll still mean I'll have a tasty £200 when all's done. And it's all down to being back here in the challenge forum, that's spurred me on to get sharp with finances again. Very happy bunny!!!!:DNOV 2014 £151.74/£150 ... DEC 2014 £303.81/300 ... JAN 2015 £143.33/£150
FEBRUARY 2015 £25.79/£100
