Found a cheerful £31.20 in my bank account this morning, that's the electricity overpayment from the utility company that I grabbed back last week, so that's now happily re-homed into my savings account. The gas one will take a bit longer to arrive, they tell me, as it's a much larger amount. I know I wouldn't have bothered investigating if I hadn't had my money-saver hat on due to being back in the forum, so thanks to all for being the inspiration

Congratulations to everyone for their gains big or small:beer:
This is my first financial update for a week:o. Little bits have been trickling in here and there so I might as well report in or it will be the end of the month:eek:
Sold several books on Amazon but the money takes about 4 days to transfer from Amazon to my bank account. Still more to come for books posted but I've actually received £34.70 after fees and postage.
On Sunday a friend offered to take some of my stuff to eke out her items at a tabletop sale. I let he take a pile of jigsaws and her son (who was a big hit with the buyers) managed to sell the lot:j. I was amazed, these puzzles have been to so many sales this year and haven't had much interest so that was a result. My friend refused to take a cut, she was glad of something to keep her son out of mischief and he'd taken his selling duties very seriously. He's only 9 so I gave him something for being a super-salesman and he was well-chuffed:rotfl:. Total profit for them was £22 and a big space cleared in our spare bedroom.
Still waiting for a £21 survey redemption but not holding my breath for a quick result if past experience is anything to go by. Have already received £4 from Pinecone and £5 from MySurvey.
That's a total of £65.70 for the week so not too bad. I might just
make my target (going for £7 a day).
Good Luck all0 -
Apologies for my somewhat lengthy absence from the thread - I joined bubblews and the time taken on there has somewhat distracted me from everything else! But now I've got my head round it a bit I'm going to doing all the other things I used to, hopefully!
I have £20 ebay after fees/postage, topcashback £33.00, money from Dad to help out (thankYOU!!!!!!!!) £100
Not going to set a target this month as it's so late in the month, I'll just womble on until we set our goals for Dec.
