  • Spendy day today. Went to a concert (The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain - utterly brilliant!) which was paid for months ago but we bought two CDS. Tomorrow will be spendy too, but there's always Sunday...
Have a good weekend, everyone :)

Just seen a jobs ad in the Ennessdee Gazette - wanted, experienced sous chef in large gothic-style mansion, catering for 30-plus. Must be prepared to say "Yes Chef!" without question, be prepared to work with Scandinavian/ Transylvanian duo and a donkey. Lack of senses of smell and taste desirable. Total lack of any sense compulsory.
It sounded like my ideal career choice, but I can't leave my mummy

Oooh they are a wonderful duo; Hubert is a big fan of Igor's after-crimbo menu in particular.

I've clocked up 2 of my seven nsds; one of my appts has been postponed for next week so I've got a better chance of achieving my goal, providing I'm not tempted into the den of inequity that is armchair shopping blinking-scared-smiley-emoticon.gif

  • I am checking in with NSD 9 and 3 in-a-row (in a row target achieved). I am going to try for 4 tomorrow which I think is doable.

It's been pessistentally pattering precipitaton all day here, that soft stuff you can't really see but still gets you wet. Has given me a chance to rummage through my emails & catch up with a pal or two :)
