Yes Igor,if you wore a belt then your trousers wouldn't keep falling down around your ankles.I've got enough on my plate trying to find a new sous-chef,and I've already got an ulcer. :(

I know that Knit Witch made you a lovely pair of woolly longjohns, but that's not a good enough reason to show them off every five minutes....
  • The good news is it's Friday. :j

  • Just seen a jobs ad in the Ennessdee Gazette - wanted, experienced sous chef in large gothic-style mansion, catering for 30-plus. Must be prepared to say "Yes Chef!" without question, be prepared to work with Scandinavian/ Transylvanian duo and a donkey. Lack of senses of smell and taste desirable. Total lack of any sense compulsory.
 Where do I send my CV?

I'll take care of it,thank you!
Igor can't read anyway, which might explain why his recipes always come out wrong. He's loves scouring cook books, but can only go by the pictures....Having The Swedish Chef as his mummy has also been a major influenece of course, and needless to say,it's one that he's very proud of...:rotfl::rotfl:

The hours are 4am - 2am,one day off every month, payment of salary depending on Igor's mood, but you also get free board and of course all the food you can eat.Plus the enviable position of working with one of the best chefs in the business...What's not to like?
  • Morning :)

I'm ashamed to say I've only managed 1 NSD in the past week, taking me up to #8 so my target is looking increasingly unlikely this month :o

However, this is due to me finishing up my last bits of Christmas shopping so I'm not feeling too bad about it, I've not overspent and it means December should be a relatively cheap (and relaxing!) month for me :)

Excellent...I shall prepare my 14 hour powerpoint presentation on the merits of tasting the concoctions only once they have been served and may even throw in my demonstration on how cotton can be utilised to bulk up meals, thus saving Igor's precious Krona which is what this board is all about in the first place.

A dazzling, superlative NSD number 11 is now safely tucked up in the Cauldron of Doom with his Horlicks and teddy bear.

Igor, come on, you have job interviews to do. Yes I know we only have one applicant so far, but I am sure there will be some last minute ones. Start drawing up your list of questions and make sure the interview room is all set up ready. That means losing the chains and the rack. And the iron maiden. No, Hubert, not that Iron Maiden, turn it down! You know Igor is more of a Val Doonican fan......
