Create a tax disc

Here in Spain the traffic police have only just got around (after many years) to stopping some of the many UK vehicles belonging to expats that are not taxed and don't display a valid UK tax disc.

This will confuse the hell out of them. BFG.

So why does it have to be a copy of the tax disc? just put a round bit of paper in the old holder with the month on it......and a spare biscuit in case of traffic jams....
If you can't be bothered to set up auto payment.....Just Scan an old one and change the month in paint or similar.
Out of interest, what do you use a calendar for?

For the aesthetics of it, you are of course right a date on a bit paper is just as good, but a proper looking disc will look better.

Ha, I was in Spain a fortnight ago and the oldest UK tax disc I saw expired in 1997

Best one I saw was a Granada estate in Rhodes, no tax and the reg plate of 4 play.

One suggestion I saw was to use old tax disk holder as poppy holder for Remembrance Day.

New tax disk holders for sale in 99p shop in Exeter.

ps Wig, what method do you use to remember to renew your TV license? Assuming you have one.
