I think it has changed on here. I received fantastic help from people in 2010 when my marriage broke down.

I honestly don't think there would be the same now. One person on my thread said they didn't believe me, they thought I was a troll, so they were stepping away. Tbh my life had imploded to a point that I couldn't blame them. I don't think that would happen now. I think the OP would be picked apart and there would be a debate on the thread about trolling. After the first few posts on the last thread I made (worrying about being unreasonable) I'd think twice about starting a thread here again.

It's a shame because the wealth of knowledge people have on here is fantastic and can be so helpful when people need it.

Yeah. A lot of new posts which returned the thread to the discussion it was before but one or two posters absolutely refused to let that happen.

My wedding thread was deleted too. Made me laugh that someone thought I'd copy the plot of an episode of Don't Tell the Bride for that :rotfl:

Dont know whats going on with the thread pulling. Lost two labyrinthitus threads dezpite no mexical advice beibg sought.

Also had the beinv jumped on and beibg accused of making stuff up/being a troll on many of the threads ivd started but there are still nice people on here you just have to ignore the mean ones.

Yeah because of the episode where the groom made her pick between her sister and her mum to go to the wedding because he booked Vegas.

Don't think I've seen that episode? Will have to look out for it!

You should go for it! Would you trust your OH to get it right though?

It's a great episode but you end up hating them both!

I would, actually. We have very similar tastes and I think his love of football would get us on TV!

My mum knows someone who went on it and she says he was told by the producers to do certain things even though he knew they would annoy his fiance!
