    Today I have done nothing..

I have however, stropped, moaned, growled, b!tch£d and sighed... a lot!

    OH has PMT
KH is a lying KH.. told me he was at work but Tiddles told me he wasn't.. he even got his baggage to bring Tiddles to the door so as not to face me.. [EMAIL="w@nk£r"]w@nk£r[/EMAIL] ... the sooner he drops off his perch the better!!

We went to browse B&M just to get out of the house for a bit.. I need to take Tiddles for new boots over the half term as hers are trashed.. Might mean a startrite trip.. I might look what they have online.. while I am sat here continuing my nothing!

DW been on twice, cats fed and drugged, laundry collected from upstairs, recycling and composting out, apples harvested and soaking to rid them of any lurking bugs, food cooked and scoffed and the kitchen swept..

My finger which was infected for about 10 days has an oozing puddle of green pus under the nail.. goodness knows how it managed that one but it looks pretty!

ebay item packaged ready to post tomorrow.

Moomin at her friends for a sleepover and cinema tomorrow, Mimi been out with god squad.. I owe them £2.50 in 2 weeks if someone can remind me the day before!!

I need to womble to wool shop for a price for FFP some yarn.. and I need to post a parcel.. and I need to get boots for Squeak and Tiddles and I really want to go trawling around all the chazzers for bargainous bargains.. I've not done that in the longest time! .. Alas I am devoid of beans..

    Half term Toots list constructed.

I have included the jobs already done, not least because the-cupboard-under-the-stairs wasn't on my radar. Plus the fact that some are already ticked off is VERY motivational!

Tip run done, oven light bulb bought (and it blew before the summer hols) - from a shop I pass en route to work, actually, though it's never open then - plus it's on the 'wrong' side of the main road; anyway I have been; then on to the tip with the old vacuum cleaner.

Home, lunch then off to town to pay in the money - inc £600 in £1 coins!

Carrier bags thrust into recycling at Mr Ms - I have offered them to charity shops before but they have always said they cannot accept them!

Skinty I love reading your posts. I am so envious. I dream of living in a house that is that organised..... Maybe one day!

Very quite in the house tonight. Hubby has gone away and won't be back until Monday night. 4 days and 4 nights with just the kids. First evening to myself and wasn't going to do anything too strenuous. Pottered around whilst watching tv and then what did I end end up doing........ Building Lego! To be fair it has been on the kitchen side for three weeks. It is the big police station and because it isn't being started right from the beginning ds 1 finds it difficult to follow the instructions. Anyway, a fun Friday night for me and I can now move it off the work top (this helping my decluttering of the kitchen!)

    Update...

    Today's list
    [STRIKE]Ds2 swimming
    Declutter living room
    Dw
    Wm
    Put all clothes away
    Put stuff in the loft
    Put stuff in the garage[/STRIKE]
    Hoover stairs
[STRIKE]Declutter kitchen! (Massive job- loads of stuff has been put there as it doesn't have a home!)
    Make chilli for dinner
    [/STRIKE]

So everything apart from the stairs. They are looking a bit clearer but will need to be finished tomorrow! Have also tidied the garden, mowed the lawn, decluttered library books, paid for after school club, washed up and cleaned the sides and done an extra load of washing!

I feel like I can see the wood for the trees now.
Utility room- tidy, clean and painted. Beautiful!
Living room- almost clear of toys (just one small box in the corner of the room), decluttered and painted! Lovely!
Kitchen- tidy and clear working kitchen (will need a quick once over for valuation), painted half and now thinking I should have painted all of it!!!
Rest of the house- getting there. Bathrooms next I think and go around with some poly filler!!! At least I've got time this weekend to get on with it!
    Grocery challenge-
    J- 52.40/£200 M- 187.56 A- 212.93 M-193.44 F-201.31 J- 240.62 D- £149.27 N- £210.69 O- 196.80
    S- 213.68 A- £213.03 J- 249.66 J-206.29, M- 252.91, A-£250, M- £250

debt free as of feb 2015. Now saving for deposit for new house! Moving in June 2015!!!

Thank you, I have lots of good ideas but it is making everyone else stick to them that is the trick so I keep my motivation. I hate it when I break my back to do stuff and organise things and then it gets negated by everyone else because they can't see the benefit of it

One day, I will come on this thread and say that everything is done, the house is not in CHAOS (Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome) and I am quietly confident to let anyone drop in at a moments notice.....but I fear that time is a long way off!

Got a phone call from the EX at 11pm, thought it was mega important, but it was just a catch up on the kids phone call.......now 4 hours later I still can't get back to sleep.

To fly or not to fly that is the question?

I believe I can fly, I believe I can touch the Sky! DW on, WM and TD on, oven on........ big tray of jackets ready to convert into spicy nut roast covered wedges for DD3 and whatever the rest of us fancy in jackets for lunch.....the bread pudding has now been completed - with a can of cherry pie filling in addition to the dried fruit (it will either work or it won't!)

Shopping list made of ingredients that are running low to get on dump run tomorrow. Kitchen all S&S, bleach squirted around all the loos, great washing hunt also complete waiting for an empty machine.

Looking for outfits online for DS and DD4's nursery annual party at end of November......Disney themed including the parents.......opportunity for each one of us to get a brand new outfit rather than pre-loved..........DD4 will get an Elsa dress, DS will go as Pinocchio and I will go as the Blue Fairy as I have found a dress that will do for any smart occasion(over ooooo say the next 15 years!) that I can add some ribbon, a brooch and a pair of fairy wings to and we are good to go......DD3 has a medieval dress already which she is now slim enough to get back into, so she can go as Maid Marion from Robin Hood.

Time for some dinner (only 8 hours late), then to taste test some bread pudding :)
The cold never bothered me anyway

  • Morning all, sitting here in my jim jams thinking about stuff that needs doing, which kind of goes like:

Washing: 1 load on the line, 2nd load is in, all the beds need changing.
Paid stuff: e-mails to send for job no. 2 and some other bits to sort.
Flying: Kitchen needs a major tidy, the rest of the house needs a swish and swipe.

Parents are going to call in later.

I am wondering if my legs could cope with a little bike ride. I should go now if I am going, before I get showered and dressed.

Skint, I cant believe you were so busy at 3am! Are you back in bed now I wonder?

Rambling over, off to make a start.

This morning I have made a cuppa.. yelled at Tiddles and Dot, stropped at OH, fed 3 girls and made Tiddles pick up her dirty laundry.

3 hours broken sleep does not a happy piggy make...

Ebeast parcel to post today so I shall kick OH out of bed and go do that shortly. I need a trot to wool shop for prices and to Startrite and Brantano's .. in totally opposite directions! for boots for Tiddles and Squeak and Dot... might go to Clarks to get them measured first ;)

    Morning all

Lovely leisurely morning being enjoyed by all. I've been lounging on the kitchen sofa with tea and magazines and cats - bliss. DS3 up now but not the others. I'll have a shower then wake them up as I think they are all off to help DS3 practice his cricket before tomorrow's trials.

I need to take my mother's shopping over and I have some errands to run in her town, think DS2&3 want to go to the footie there so I'm hoping to combine it all in one trip.

Flying shower room to clean, dining room to dust and a HH in the front garden plus WM and ironing.

Kaz don't be too hard on yourself, what is said is said, I hope he makes contact today.

    Morning all

    Bright and sunny here.

Started the day by dealing with the locks - I was given someone's unwanted Clairol - a sort of dark blonde (I had admired the shade on her) anyway, read the box and it said if the hair to be dyed is naturally red then the hair will be red after dying - it is and I am thrilled as it's closer to my natural shade than the one I have been using since the one I started using was discontinued.

    (Hope that makes sense)

May pop to Morries later for the stuff for the christmas cake - and I will return the 400g loaf I bought which was labelled and priced as an 800g!

Well this week has not gone to plan so very little has been done and I have not even managed to post daily lists. I am going to use this weekend to try and get some sort of order. The plan for today is to
    • Get rid of 100 emails from inbox
    • Grab a quick shower
    • Reschedule work that was on list for this week
    • Catch up with the laundry
    • Sort out a costume for the 2 little ones, as they have a Halloween party on Wednesday
    • Sort through and tidy dd's clothing cupboard
    • Sort through dd's clothes and remove ones that are too small
    • Catch up with ds2's ironing
    • Make a start on dd's ironing
    • Make a start on college homework for Monday
    • Organise clothes for Monday, as I start in a new placement
    • Deal with Mr T order when it arrives
I think that is enough to be getting on with today, as still trying to sort out some of this weeks problems and both of the little ones have had a restless night.
