Hi all, just popping in. On our way home from night away. Dh out tomorrow so planning a snuggly stay at home day tomorrow - no doubt I will also be relying on cbeebies by the afternoon! We've stopped off at ikea on our way home to pick up the final bits for our bedroom, which we have just decorated. Seriously need to declutter the old stuff - ebaying tomorrow! Plus unpacking and doing the washing.

Bed stripped, WM x2 done and dried.
    Birthday card delivered.
    Phone calls decluttered.

I managed to plant up all the pots for the decking but had to cook DH's "evening" meal for 4:15 so that he could go out to work on the heritage railway and frighten the kiddies on the first Halloween Special :rotfl:

Now my GUAG has gone :o
I think I shall just put my feet up with a :coffee: and wait until it comes back of its own accord :D

Sorry for the newbie question, but ... hettyed??
  • Hi all

Where did today go? Been too quiet here. Everyone has been out all day and it was just me and the dog - Pigpen I could have borrowed some of your little cherubs.

Anyhow, I did loads of washing but it was one of those days when the washing should have dried really well but didnt so its been finished off in the tumbler.

Sorted the work e-mails that needed replies. Blitzed the kitchen and tidied here and there. Saw my parents for an hour, did a half hour out on the bike, made lasagne for tea and hoovered downstairs.

Hoping the pain eases off LW. DS has been suffering too, but he wont admit it. I know he is in pain, I can just tell, but I cant say anything or he gets cross with me so we just avoid the subject. He needs his treatment upping but we are holding off as long as we can. And I think the BD is attracted by the pain, as if one thing wasnt enough!

No plans for tomorrow yet, happy to pootle around at home really. OH may take DS fishing to get him out for a bit.

At least my lot went to bed nicely.. I may have murdered them otherwise!

Question.. DS2 19 in January.. DD2 17 and DS3 who was 15 last March.. would you leave them home alone for 2 nights and trust they'd not murder each other??

I can trust there will be no parties/orgies/drug/beer/showering.

The older 2 have been left many times and are fine it is the addition of DS3 that concerns me.. he is diabetic, under 16 and prone to tantrums.
