Healing vibes for your painful paws Lamewolf, and acquiring-appreciation-vibes heading Mr LW's way. The pud can wait until you feel moved to make it, I would have thought - which may take some time.

Lodger walked to bus station with copious amounts of luggage and waved off, bed stripped, mount ex-washmore partially rehomed, washing up done, dog walked, fed and medicated, buckets of coffee made and drunk, Devil cat fought, eggs bought and more found lurking in lodgers' fridge, three clocks changed. Now back in bed with even more coffee, OH, the newspapers, a calm dog and a cat spoiling for another fight.

I managed to acquire 6pts of milk yesterday for 75p, so while some of it will be yoghurt, the rest - now that I've found three single pint containers in the lodgers fridge - will have to be some cheese sauce for the freezer. And as we also have six more eggs than we need and I have some tough biscuity-type dough I might make a quiche or three for the freezer at the same time. The dressing gown lining may have to wait for a bit longer, but I have cut it out.
    Better is good enough.

Well done Nicki on the office sort-out :T

My good news of the day is I CAN SEE MY DESK AGAIN !! :T

Well done Nicki and Lynne - feels good, doesn't it?

I have washed my make-up brushes, thrown a crumbling latex applicator and plan to sort out the make up. I need to let go of a tinted moisturiser. The frugal person inside me thinks it's wasteful to throw a perfectly good in date item; the logical person keeps reminding the frugal one that, whenever I use it, my eyes run...

Honey - apparently milk can be frozen...
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

I would, Valli, if we used much milk but apart from OH's tea the only other uses are cheese sauce and quiche. I may just as well make them so we've got them for immediate use, as opposed to having to unfreeze them for 24 hours before making the cheese sauce and quiche. Especially as we have the cheesy bix dough that didn't work but would be fine as soggy pastry at the bottom of a quiche.
    Better is good enough.

Hello flyladies, I've been MIA for a couple of days and no flying has been done on those days. They were reserved for me time - getting my hair restyled (not that you'd have know it in the wind this morning) and going to the seaside with DH.

Today I have been tackling a massive pile of washing as DD has been camping, have walked the dogs, WUDUPA and have put the beef the slow cooker.

I haven't caught up with all the thread so hope everyone is ok:
Valli - throw out the tinted moisturiser
Re Flour weevils: when I buy a bag of flour, I put it in a plastic bag in the freezer overnight and after that it seems to be ok when stored in an airtight container.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

On the threat of Mr O&O coming I've worked my socks off!
Yesterday DD2 helped me shift all the decorating stuff, boxes of Christmas presents I've brought and other gibble without a proper home into their room. No need for anyone to go in there as both girls are sleeping out for the weekend & monday, so it won't be seen ;)
The front room has been swept, and dusted  (well damp clothed), decluttered to a reasonable state. Just the girls carp to be dumped in their room.
I cleaned my room yesterday and actually found floor!
I've cleaned the bathroom, including the floor on my hands and knees!
And I've just swept the kitchen floor CBA to mop that :o and wiped round the sides.
Just had a confirmation message saying Mr O&O IS coming to see me, but it seems not for as long as I'd hoped
Having a coffee break now then I'll carry on, enthusiasm now waning after that message :(

Have managed to catch up a bit on the flying.
    Hoovered right through
    Dailies done
Garden now ready for the winter. I did notice a rose coming out on the bush though. Maybe confused by the mild weather.

Ready to start the new flying week and hopefully no dramas.

I've been cleaning on top of all the cupboards and the open shelves in the kitchen as it's not been done in ages. Just waiting for it to dry to put the next lot back and then off to cricket.

Inspired by Valli, I decided to sort out make-up and toiletries. At least half a dozen each of shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath, body wash, shower gel, soaps, hand creams, body lotions etc etc. I MUST NOT BUY ANYMORE UNTIL THESE ARE USED UP. Cupboards look tidier though, all in rows, I could open my own shop.

Just having a cuppa, then last walk of the day for the dogs before I bath them, then hoover and mop through the house.
