Thanks for the tip, Jazee - think I'll buy two copies as we're very low on fruit and veg again. I need some store cupboard basics too, and I usually take the opportunity of the voucher to stock up on meat, plus I will also get in some tins and packets for the local foodbank for the next few weeks.

Dry but cloudy here at the moment. We are going out for some fresh air
today. The worst room in the house is - of course - my study, but it's not a place that I show off to passing visitors so I will leave it for another time :rotfl: I really need a break from the computer! The rest of the house is still tidy, and we're not expecting any visitors. At least all time I spent at my desk this week was worthwhile as the presentation went very well yesterday evening :)

    Just having my lunch.
    Have hung washing out.
Then painted utility room. Got distracted by washing down the work tops, paintwork and door. Also swept the floor ready to mop! The hallway is a tip but hoping to sort that out later! It looks beautiful. Don't want to put anything back in!
After lunch I want to start painting the kitchen. Am hoping I can get away with just painting the long wall but if not will have to do the whole lot!

Boddy I'm so pleased your scan result was good news.:T

Piggers that jumper is lovely - and you managed to get the stripes on the sleeves to line up with the body; brilliant!:o

I'm afraid I had a rough night again; fallout from going for the ultrasound, I suppose. The problem is, my BD has a state-of-the-art, 40 megapixel video camera, which he brings out whenever I have to interact with other people. He then delights in replaying the video at me, usually at 03:00 in the morning, and giving me a running commentary on what I did/said that made me look a complete twerp, and how hopelessly socially inept I am, and how everyone I meet thinks I'm a complete idiot.:( He has such fun doing this that he repeats the performance every night, for about a week.:(

Anyways... midweek me time consisted of sitting on the floor with Jack, brushing his coat to get out the loose fur (I find dog-grooming therapeutic), and giving him a tummy-rub and a general fuss.:o
The little guy's going home at 10:00 tomorrow, so I've done his postcard today, so that I could take my time writing it (writing is one of the tasks that really hurts my paws).
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Lamewolf Have a gentle hug. Tell your BD very firmly that most people are more interested in themselves than others, and therefore he can go away.

Pigpen Lovely rainbow! I also have yarn, but pastel, for doll's clothes for friend's DD. Quick weekend knit!

Living room Done. Also Main bedroom done

Unlikely to be around for next few days, off to visit uni boy, with daughter for long weekend. Really looking forward to seeing him, missing him loads at the moment.

Mummyyof5 I still can't remove books, which I can see is part of my problem. I do have a kindle but it just isn't the same. Useful for insomnia.

Serena, yes it was the three box thing. Valli and put it away sticks too, it's just a shame nobody else in this house does.

It was OCD cleaners that I watched. It helped actually, SS seems to have realised that he risks ending up rotting in a pit if he doesn't do something (like use the bin), and DS1 is helping everyone - makes a difference. DS2 has inherited the hoarding genes sadly.

Still pottering. Trip to Mudbaths most hated place today means a wardrobe for DS2s new room, and some useful storage bits. £2 for over door hangers which will help all 3 boys with the floordrobe. Car is full ready for tip trip but it isn't open till Saturday.

There is now stuff everywhere which I am hating. Can't move for stuff, but can't paint or lay new floors otherwise. I just have visions of going back to work with it all still here.

I totally did not row count or pull it out 100 times until it did match.

School runs done for half term.. thank goodness!!

Back to my doing nothing.. 5 loads of laundry done today, most of it is drying outside so I'll air it off in the dryer.. I washed DS2's stuff at 60' and its come out feeling and looking much nicer.. :)

I love the jumper :) I'd like to get back to knitting again. I can knit but never got the hang of mattress-stitch(?), so I can't sew it together very well, which is a bit of a problem :rotfl:

Thursday - Living Room and other reception rooms
    Only got 15 minutes....

Hoover any floor you can see

    Done

Eat a frog or at least chew one
I don't have any frogs, so I'm going to make a list. How many things do you have on your list, usually?

Caught up on washing the kitchen floor. I went over it twice and it looks much better but still needs another going over. It was quite dirty.. :o
