Hi all, I recently had vinyl fitted in my en suite and bathroom (had carpet previously, when was a pain). I've started to not use pedestal mats as it's easier to clean the floor without but it just doesn't seem / look right. I still use a bathmat.
Do you have pedestal mats?

I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

I did when my late OH was alive but as I now am on my own I don't. But I have a bath mat at the shower door. I no longer have a bath, I have a walk-in shower which as I don't bend very well is far easier and safer for me (I also have a nice seat I can sit on in there while I wash my hair
:):))

No, I don't understand the need for them, especially on a tiled or vinyl floor. They just make the bathroom look untidy and smaller. I don't leave the bathmat on the floor either.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Had to reply to this thread, just in order to tell you my MIL bought me one for Christmas! Along with the matching bathmat. That the colour suits my downstairs loo, is the most positive thing I can find to say about it! It's going to meet with a nasty accident soon, maybe just after Xmas, so I don't get a replacement one as a present this year too! Looking forward to hearing everyone whinge about them - hopefully0

I use a bath mat but not a pedestal one. If I had one round lol I would want to change it everyday and I already do enough washing tbh lol.Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

We have laminate in the bathroom, and NO pedestal mat, as it makes the bathroom look smaller.
Do use bath mat, but it lives over the side of the bath.
Now, toilet seat covers.....dare we go there.....?!0 -

No - the only person who does is my lovely nanny...but not for me. I also don't leave the bathmat on the floor but instead hang it up to dry every day after our showers. Much easier to clean and makes the bathroom look bigger.0

Yes, and a bath mat. I have ceramic tiles, and I think it makes the bathroom look cosier. They are a lovely teal colour and match everything else. I really can't see that they make the bathroom look smaller.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

They had some lovely quality bath mats on sale in Sainsbury's the other week, only £5, they wash up lovely, I told my mum, but she didn't get any because they didn't have pedestal mats to matchAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
