    Evening Diary and Diary Readers!

Well... What did I do the last two days... NOTHING. Absolutely nothing but somehow I managed to spend £40.65 on petrol and £28.87 on takeaway and £123.80 on train tickets!!

So what happened to my NSDs, I hear you cry. I had an accute attack of Netflix coupled with an emotional meltdown. I don't know what came over me. I just wanted the duvet to swallow me and never let me go. However, the day did start with good intentions as I got up at 5:00am and made my OH breakfast and took him to work. I then melted into the duvet until I picked him up again.. This is where everything went down hill. Having not eaten anything myself I ended up taking him to BKing for lunch. :o After that I dunno, with all the uncertainty in my life and some things my OH had said, I really started to worry that our relationship wasn't as strong as it should be. I had a big cry and couldnt talk to OH about it. Thankfully the next day I managed to get up the courage to talk about my fears and he explained some of his remarks and I felt so much better. He put a lot of my fears to rest. He needed to visit his DF so I took him and went to get petrol. WELL.... Then things really took a turn!!

I get a phonecall from one of the representatives in the consultation at work. The company have decided to delay the redundancy until Feb 1st!! :T:T:T:T:T This gives me more time to get some money together and takes away some of the worries of getting another job. I think my heart is set on redundancy and its just my fears that have been stopping me. So the combination of the delayed redundancy and the chat with my OH has put me in a much less stressed sense of mind. Pheww! Of course we then decided to celebrate with a chinese :rotfl:. So the budgeting isnt going well!!

The train tickets are for Christmas. I was talking to DM about travelling over the Christmas period and my concerns. I decided on a whim to look at trains and the times are much the same as driving and although they are more expensive than petrol prices the old car is getting a little untrustworthy and my breakdown ends next month. She said she would help put money towards them so I am going to travel by train. It will be nice to be able to sit back, play with my tablet and phone and not have to worry about drunk drivers and christmas traffic. I will miss my car up there but it's not for a long visit and I wont be going out Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Just got to arrange lighter presents LMAO :rotfl:

So I feel a lot better but need to sort myself out budgetwise and see what money I have left. Also time to put some more things on e b of a and I want to have a look and see if I have some christmas present type things. Also need to work out what presents I want to get (I have a few already) and see what it is going to cost me.

Have a good evening everyone

    Thanks Both!

Lucky, I think we should have a friendly race to see who gets their next NSD :) Might spur us both on? What do you say? :)

    You're on!

You will probably win though, with the boys off school for the weekend and next to no food in the fridge, I can't see my next NSD happening until Monday but you never know! I like a bit of healthy competition :D! Xx

I dunno. I haven't managed one today and tomorrow is unlikely. I am sat in a cafe doing a lot of my training as I have two newbies at the moment and can't just sit there without purchasing at least a coffee! Hehe :)

    Good luck! :):)

  • Glad to hear of the postponement but still think you should look into housing benefit for your mum. She can't get it if you are living in the house that you own but that isn't the case here. It'd be a big weight off your mind if that payment was covered.
