I don't feel like I've had a very productive DFW month. I think it's because I haven't been able to pay off many little bits this month. Just read back through my diary and I paid off a good chunk on pay day so I should be really pleased with myself. Going to the bank to pay in some money tomorrow, so should be able to pay at least £70 off the debt - £50 OD (moved up the priority list - have 4 months to clear it or potentially go back to paying fees) and £20 off the beds.

Don't think I'll be able to pay as much off on pay days this month as I need to take my "spends" out my wages as not getting money from lodger. He said he'd be back before new year but I don't want to count on him staying. Moneywise I want him to come back but happiness-wise I don't! Feel mean saying that as he's a friend but OH is happier without him there which makes me happier. Lodger doesn't bother me too much but him and my OH work together also so I think bickers at work carry over and they're just generally spending too much time together.

Me and OH have been very productive cleaning wise this week! Feels great to get things a bit more organised! Also it means there's not much to do this weekend as normally I do my cleaning at the weekend. Got a pile of random stuff in the corner of my room that I want to sort through tonight - we have a severe lack of storage!

Possibly wont be a NSD today (cant remember the last time I had one - its always something!) Want to go to home bargains on my lunch break to get some cheap tea light holders as I love having all the lights off and just candles going (plus have a million tea lights!) Feels very xmassy when the xmas tree lights on!

Think that's all I've to ramble about for now!

Ok so I have just been sent as SOS from a friend asking to collect them from Gatwick tomorrow night as their lift has let them down. And they've offered me £100 to do it! I feel slightly mean taking it but I guess they'd put it aside to pay for a taxi anyway. Plus she said she'd asked me first as she knows I'm after extra money at the moment. I'm getting low on petrol anyway, so I'll fill up tomorrow afternoon (out of the petrol pot) and then on Sunday (out of the money they give me) so I can see how much it cost in fuel - shouldn't be too much as I only have a little 1.4 seat. Then I'll put the rest aside to put in the bank next weekend and pay off something.

In other news, went to look for tea light holders but couldn't see any I liked so it may be a NSD after all!

I am turning into a MSE master! Well not quite but I wanted to share my little shop.

Parked in asda and walked into town so I could get a few bits to get parking back. So I bought:
    3 x febreeze sleep serenity - £3 each or 3 for £5. Plus I had a £1 coupon and a 50p coupon = 3 febreeze for £3.50
Diet coke and Pepsi - £1.25 each or 2 for £2. Plus 75p through shopitize and £1.25 through click snap = FREE
Shloer - £1 but had 50p off coupon
    Carex - 80p plus 30p through shopitize
Plus £1.50 parking back which I would have paid if I parked elsewhere in town.
So a £12.40 shop came to £5.40 plus I'll get £2.30 through the apps taking it to £3.10!! Not bad for my first coupon shop!

Plus I've got 3 free vouchers for the new innocent range but they didn't sell them so I'll have to go elsewhere.

So I made £74.78 for picking my friends up from the airport! Debated paying it off debts but going to use it towards Xmas food/alcohol shopping. So maybe not MSE but very handy!

Been and done a big food shop so got plenty of chicken, mince, cheese and food in general to last over Xmas! Also got the joint for Xmas day. So spent £104.66 but I used to spend this on a weeks food shopping in Mr t! Still need to get alcohol for Xmas period but we're going tomorrow night as a daren't take OH when it's too busy as I have images of him getting severe trolley rage!

Parents popped round this morning and gave us a hamper of sweets they were given but don't want. Basket will be put to use in the bathroom as I've been meaning to get something to put all the shampoo, bubble bath etc in.

I'm feeling a bit stressed over money today :(

OH finishes work on Friday for xmas - no work equals no pay! He is trying to find bits of work to do in between, so hopefully he'll get something. Fingers crossed! He also hasn't bought any xmas presents yet - typical bloke!

All the bills are paid for this month, we do have plenty of food in and I have plenty of petrol, but I don't like feeling like I don't have any money and worrying that I may do something silly like use my CC - which I haven't done since my LBM. He also owes the house renovation pot - he really needs to get it into his head that he cant have something if he doesn't have the money for it. Not that this money is immediately needed but its not the point. And I really need to get better at saying no to him.

I don't mean to be horrible to him as he works extremely hard but whilst I've had my LBM and he seems on board I think he's got a flickering bulb!

Right enough negativity! In other news I've just cottoned on the free pizza deal! So I've paid for a pizza and got one free so far. Will be going to get another free one at lunch and then again after work. Now I know about this deal I will be stocking up!

We've stocked up on alcohol for over xmas - don't normally have any in the house as neither of us are big drinkers (although for me I have been out quite a bit recently!) but this will save us going out over xmas as planning on inviting people to ours, including NYE which could otherwise be very expensive! Plus we made the most of the deals in Mr T so got quite a bit of money off.

I've also started "wombling" receipts in Mr T so I've gained 36 clubcard points so far. Will be on the look out again today! My OH did think I was a bit crazy but they all add up and presumably will count towards to petrol deal too.

Going out with my close friends on Saturday for our xmas get together. I have £30 so I must stick to that - no buying anyone else a drink! I am really looking forward to it as I know it will be a good laugh!

It's payday on Tuesday but I wont be paying so much off this month as don't have lodgers money at the moment. Although he did say he'd be back before NYE but I don't want to count on it and if he does come back I can always pay more off later in the month.
