What is the shortest job you have had?

Three hours. I was working for a television hire repair company - which shows how long ago it was (1984, I was 18). These were the days when people still rented TVs from places like Visionhire, DER and Radio Rentals (remember them?). This company sent out repairmen when TV's went on the blink. The manager was a total !!!! - a real git. He was rude, abusive, and spent the whole morning shouting at me. Even the work men had to tell him to lay off a couple of times. At 12.00 he told me to '!!!! off to lunch'. I went and just kept walking - all the way home.
