i just bought 1 item at the carboot on sunday and that took some consideration - i want things out not replenishing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thats a shame about little jwils stuff not selling - it sounds a good idea to bundle it up in that case
hope you manage to sort something nice for your mr's birthday jwil - mine will be getting an iou i thinkand with any money i get for my birthday i will be paying it off my target card  i know how to live :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks DDFWI hate throwing things away so would much rather they found a new home.
Well done on only one thing at the car boot! I'm usually very restrained, but this week it all went out the window!
I've asked DH what he wants for his birthday but he hasn't told me yet  He'll just get the cash at the rate he is going!peaceandfreedom wrote: »There is no point in pushing them into potty training if they are not interested - boys in particular take longer than girls I found. But it is good to get it done in summer time because you can let them wander about the place semi-naked and it's easier to dry any extra washing.
But I quite see your point about the long journey in October, I do have many memories of having to stop the car, fish out a potty and seat a little bottom on it.
Worse still is when they have an urgent need to go to the loo when you are in the middle of a busy supermarket. Or when it's too late ...... ah, the memories :rotfl:.
I like the idea of leaving it til next summerWill have to see how it goes. I'll see how it looks around his birthday as then hopefully we will be in a bit more of a routine then. Unless of course he announces he wants to do it sooner!

Well done on the selling and the extra payments and the general getting-on-with-it. Remember to put your feet up every now and again as well, you need your rest
I get hardly anything done these days!I'm so exhausted or in pain, I don't have the energy. Once 7pm comes, that's my time, and I don't do anything. I'm usually in bed around 9pm but those 2 hours for me mean a lot!

Sold a couple of items overnight, so they've been posted today. DH has an INR that I need to deal with now *sigh*.
Not sure what to do this afternoon - whether to try and sort a few things out or get some stuff listed. Will have to see how I feel."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I didn't manage to get too much done after all. I did get a few bits listed on ebay, sold another 2 items and did the refund for DHs INR.
Sitting here listening to little jwil on the monitor, he should have been asleep an hour ago! So far we've had a rendition of 'Happy Birthday', another one of 'Wheels on the bus' and he's now up there saying "That's MY Mummy". Not sure what that's all about but it's rather cute"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Feeling a bit grotty today, lots of pain which is annoying. Got my 2 ebay parcels posted.
I've now worked out how many working days I have left before maternity leave - 69I still have some leave to take, and that is of course assuming that baby does not decide to arrive early.
I have also calculated that she is not allowed to arrive before 23rd November at the earliest, so I don't have to go back to work until after next Christmas"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hope you are feeling better soon, Jwil - it's all for a good cause.
No work until after next Christmas - wow, that will be amazing. I'm sure young Miss Jwil will hang until the appropriate time, I already have a good feeling about her.

Yes, at least I know there's an end date
That will be amazing if I can manage it. It really does depend on how the finances go. It's worth me trying to though, and it would mean I don't have to worry about childcare over Christmas when nursery is closed.
It's a very different experience with this one - she's a real wriggler. I hardly ever felt little jwil, this one is constantly kicking me!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Possibly due to it being a second baby as well - it's good that she's active, saves you spending time sitting down prodding your stomach trying to get some movement - some of us may have done that.
When you're off work you will have more time (maybe!) for ebaying etc so you can bump up your income that way. Although a toddler and a newborn are a lot of work, quite a shock to the system in fact.
