    April's targets:

    1. [STRIKE]£1627[/STRIKE] - £1627 HS
    2. [STRIKE]£195[/STRIKE] - £195C1
    3. [STRIKE]£695[/STRIKE] - £695 BC
    4. [STRIKE]£269[/STRIKE] - £269 SA
    5. [STRIKE]£49[/STRIKE] - £49MI
    6. [STRIKE]£1176[/STRIKE] - £1176 LI
    7. [STRIKE]£632[/STRIKE] - £576 HA
    8. [STRIKE]£559[/STRIKE] - £559 BCM

    Total: [STRIKE]£5202[/STRIKE] - £5146

One payment has already come out so off the starting blocks (it comes off April's statement, not March's).

Wow jwil, that's a fantastic amount to knock off your debt, well done.

Thanks Penny, I didn't realise it was going to be so much!

Yes, it's hard. I always used to save my money 'in case' but 'in case' always happened and I spent it. Now as long as I have money in my purse I pay towards the debts. As I'm running out of money now, I am saving it, but definitely hope that I don't spend it!

I tend not to keep any money in my purse, just so I don't "in case" it away on frivolous things like a drink (when there's something to drink at home a mere 20 minutes away) or a packet of crisps (my downfall.:o )

Alas, on the bills front, my "just in case" amounts can range from a few hundred to a few thousand pounds. It seemed to be so much easier with a fixed income, even though the mortgage was huge. it came out two days after my pay went in, so I didn't really notice it. But with such a variable income, I don't want to take the risk of having to do something stupid, like paying off the credit cards but then having to take out a cash advance to cover the bill if the income drops in the intervening weeks.

It must be very hard with a variable income. I always take out a certain amount of cash on payday to cover all food etc. I try and make it last the month, but not always successful!

I've really gone for it with the payments today. I'm determined to try and get this debt down. I'm so fed up with it all.

We are meeting friends today, but I am up early to try and get some listing done first. I've had a couple of sales overnight as well which is good, so I'll make another payment later once I've packed and posted them.

    Thanks everyone :)

Unfortunately I've been feeling really ill yesterday and today so haven't been as productive as I'd hoped.

I did have the dentist this morning and that was just the check up fee, so that wasn't too bad. I also did 2 mystery shops while I was out so hopefully have some money coming in.

I've managed to keep on top of the packing and posting, but not put anything new on today, I did manage a few listings that were prepared yesterday. Hoping I'll feel a bit better tomorrow.

    Hope everyone is well :)
