This is the problem I have, balancing the payments of the debts - my first choice - with more immediate needs - like doing the supermarket shop. Which starts with being an "austerity shop" but never ends up that way :o

Yes, it's hard. I always used to save my money 'in case' but 'in case' always happened and I spent it. Now as long as I have money in my purse I pay towards the debts. As I'm running out of money now, I am saving it, but definitely hope that I don't spend it!

I think you are doing so well - as from last week I have been checking the lloyds account and if it has an odd amount in I round it down to the nearest 10.'s of pounds and pop the rest in the holiday fund - then on pay day I move HALF of what is left into the holiday fund so the more I dont spend the more I pop into holiday fund when the account is over 750 I am going to leave 500 in lloyds as a buffer emergency fund and the move all other money to holiday fund

and all that is down to your influence - thank you so much
    Hxx
ps if you werent doing so well I would not be doing the sliding from one account to the other
    Emergency fund £10,000
    Several categories with savings in
    Cars, house maintenance, birthdays
Etc I have about 10 categories

Really happy to be debt free after being a compulsive spender

Grr just remembered I wrote a long post yesterday and it's disappeared!

I'm off after today until after Easter, hurrah!

I tried to sort out a load of new stuff for ebay yesterday, but didn't manage to do as many as I'd planned. I did get a couple of new bits listed though.

I've had a flurry of sales which is nice, so I've made a small payment again today. I've got a few things going out later so might be able to do some more if they sell.

I put one bulky item on yesterday so it would be lovely if it sells, but I'm not sure it will. I might put it on Facebook if it doesn't. I'm also contemplating putting another piece of furniture on to get rid of it.

While I'm off, I'd love to get a lot done, but I also want to spend some quality time with little jwil as it will be just the two of us. I'm going to try and stay off the computer as much as possible, to try and make a difference in the house. He's still pretty good at having a decent nap, so will try and get up earlier than him and use the nap times to do stuff for me.

I've got the dentist on Wednesday :( Hoping I get away with just the check up fee.

My printer keeps coming up with an error message, but I'm hoping that Dr Google will help me resolve that as the printer is not that old.

    Hope everyone is well :)

    Hey everyone.

Last day of the month so time to make the last payments and set my targets for next month.

Even though I haven't hit my target this month, I'm going to be very ambitious next month.

I'm hoping to dig out a lot of stuff over this week so I can get loads on.

I've had a good weekend of sales, as has DH so that is good. Have spent the whole morning packing, been to the post office and come back to find I've sold another two items!
