Hey everyone, hope you are well.

Have had a quietish day today. Sorted out a couple of boxes of books to go and started a new box of bits for the carboot. The Saturday one around here starts again soon, so I shall be doing that one fairly regularly I imagine.

I'm listing a few bits for DH on ebay at the moment.

Little jwil is out with DH on the bike, so I'm enjoying the peace for a few minutes.

I've been trying to make plans for tidying up the house and doing some basic decoration until we've got the money for total renovation. I want to freshen things up but without spending much (if any!) money.

There is still some clearing to do yet before I'm able to do much, but now the house is starting to show under the clutter, I can think about what to do.

I've been making a bit more of little jwil's rug, and flicked through a couple of cookbooks which will now go.

    Hope everyone is well :)

Hi, Jwil, I admire the way you are paying down your debt. £17 in a few days may not sound much to some people, but hey, every little bit really does count and that's more than I managed to pay off this week, so congratulations.

I love coming to your diary and seeing your debt going down so regularly - it must be making a difference to the overall interest and charges over the time which is fantastic - not only are the little amounts easy for you to do but also you will be paying less interest so a big saving in a year

I have now got my laptop back so will be starting the photoing on monday and getting listings ready - I thought if I put things on either Thursday or Friday at about 7pm it will get two weekends and also finish after many people are home from work for the last min check and hopefully bid - does that sound like a good idea to you seasoned ebayers

I have been spending part of yesterday and most of today just sorting the laptop out after geeky friend managed to get it started and backedup and put everything onto factory settings - or it would not work - so need to redownload much software and then I will have a functioning laptop

I hope you have all been having a great weekend
    Emergency fund £10,000
    Several categories with savings in
    Cars, house maintenance, birthdays
Etc I have about 10 categories

Really happy to be debt free after being a compulsive spender

Aww thanks dktreesa, I really appreciate that. It's not a lot in the grand scheme of my debt, but it's still less than it was last week :)

Thanks aaleigha :) Your plan for 10 day listings is a good one. I always find Monday evenings quite a good time for ending listings. Other people swear by Sunday evenings, but they don't seem to work for me.

Hope your laptop is back up and running soon!

Hope everyone had a good weekend :)

I managed to sort out and photo a few more things yesterday. I put a couple on but still have the rest to list during this week.

I've also sold a few items which is good, and have a few more with bids on which will hopefully go up.

I had free listings this weekend and used those to relist things. I have now sold a couple of those relists, so am pleased with that.

I've received £3 paypal from a survey site, so will make a payment tomorrow.

I need fuel for the car so will have to use ebay funds for that rather than paying off debts, but at least the money is there.

We went car booting yesterday, another of our local ones started up again. It was nice to have a mooch around. I bought little jwil a couple of items, but nothing major. One is a play table and quite bulky, so I'll soon be complaining about the clutter again  It's got some storage in it though, so I'm hoping I can lose a crate.

I also must go through the toys to get rid of the ones he shows no interest in.

I have my laptop back so can make visits - I will make them regularly just to wave the pompoms around from the sidelines

we dont have car boot sales up and running yet we have an indoor one about 30miles away but I cant justify the fuel to help me go and spend money - I have never done a boot sale but on a nice day I go for a mooch and take two or three dogs with me. I would have no idea how to set up a boot sale table - sad or what - might talk to DD see if she wants to do one together I have a big car so we could take quite a bit of stuff with us and if we can make some money between us all would help

I have just had to pay for my youngest dog to have 7 deciduous teeth removed as they would not fall out on their own :)

now I have my laptop up and running I am ready to sort stuff to iron and list on ebay - need to look carefully at things as not sure of listing prices etc - just hope the first few bits sell well enough to cover fees - you are doing so well with your selling so keep reporting in please :)
