Hey everyone
Am getting antsy about not making any payments, will resume again after Christmas.
I'm almost sorted now gift wise, just got to sort out my niece, and some thing else for DH.
Absolutely shattered today, little jwil decided that sleep is for wusses again last night, so I was up with him from around 2am
I've had a few more ebay sales, but I am now on my Christmas break from there. I still have BINs on there, but will not be listing anything new until it's too late to post for Christmas. I may still pop some stuff on but will not upload it until later on. I do like to have stuff on over Christmas as you catch bored people at home browsing ebay.
I have a couple of days off, so am going to try and get stuck into the house. Give it a clean and also if need by identify some new stuff to stick on in the future.
I've decided that I am going to take a photo of all rooms in the house, and then this time next year will be able to compare to see how much I've managed to declutter.
I'm also going to have a think about what I want to achieve next year. Would like to clear a big proportion of the debt, get the house a lot clearer, but also have some time to myself. I'd like to start watching some of the hundreds of dvds so I can get rid of them, and also clear a good number of books, so I don't have them stacked all over the place. It would be nice if they'd at least fit in the many bookcases, even if they are double stacked!
I've been doing a few surveys and need to cash out from one, so should have a bit heading towards my paypal.
Hope everyone is well xx"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Still no payments made
It feels weird not really having anything on ebay. I did sell 10 books the other day though :T :T That was very nice and cleared a nice bit of space.
I've been trying to clear up a bit around the house. Not making great progress but have done some.
Yesterday I managed to reorganise the kitchen a little so it's looking a lot clearer and I've got much more worktop space (there's very little worktop anyway, so as soon as stuff gets put there, there's no room to do anything).
Today I am cleaning the oven   and doing the upstairs while little jwil is at nursery. All the bedding is in the wash too.
I'm nearly organised with Christmas and wrapped a load yesterday. I've still got a bit to get including a couple which need to be posted so must get on with those urgently.
I'm going to get back to listing in the next day or two as 10-day listings will now end after Christmas. I've identified a few more bits to go."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -

Way to go, Jwil - you are excelling yourself as usual. :T
Have you done all your Christmas shopping now? Bought everything you need for baby Jwil?0 -
Thanks peaceandfreedom, I think I'm pretty much ready now. Just got to pick up the turkey and re-stock the fridge with milk for the boy."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0

Well I'm off now for the Christmas break. I've been keeping busy.
Am almost up to date with surveys and have redeemed £5 paypal and £10 amazon voucher today. That all helps.
I've still got to tidy the house, make up the spare bed and sort a few things out, then will be able to relax for a couple of days.
The house clearance and ebaying will start again with a vengeance on Saturday or Sunday
I've just seen that the small parcel larger size is going to be valid until the end of March now, rather than January, so that is brilliant news and will help with some of the bulkier stuff.
We have relisted everything so that it's on over Christmas, and converted a few of DH's listings to BIN. Hopefully that will clear some stuff too. From now on though, I will be waiting for free listing weekends to relist things, though I will pay for the first listing.
I've joined the debt free by Christmas thread this year. There is zero chance of that! Unless I win the lotteryBut I have made my target to clear the loan. I would love for that to happen.
Also next year, I would really like to make a big dent in the other debts. I would like to get to a stage where I am no longer robbing Peter to pay Paul. That will be a big step forward and will mean I can really make progress.
I also really want to get on with clearing the house. I've taken all my photos  so can compare like for like when I get to the end of next year. It's scary, the house looks even worse in photos than it does to meHopefully I can get that sorted.
One good thing is that DH has cleared a lot of stuff out of one of our spare bedrooms, so after BIL leaves at the weekend, little jwil will be moving into his own room! :T I'm hoping it will help his sleeping. It will be very weird! It's not the room that we ultimately want him to have, but it will do for now. So I shall be trying to sort that out and make it pleasant for him. I also need to finish the rug I am making, though have done less than 1/3rd so far so that's not looking like it will happen any time soon.
I really need to lose weight too, but cannot focus on that as well as everything else. I will just try and be mindful and eat as well as I can and as frugally as I can.
That's it for now, I may or may not pop in over the break."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
If I don't make it back,
Have a lovely Christmas everyone!
Hope it's a good one

Blimey, Jwil, I'm exhausted just reading all of that! :rotfl::T
Next year I really must follow your lead and do some more ebaying. And decluttering. And lots of other things but I won't clutter up your thread with it all.
But wanted to say HAPPY CHRISTMAS to you, your DH and baby Jwil. Hope 2015 brings all kinds of good things. :xmastree::santa2::snow_laug:xmassign:0 -
